Another abstract style, this time however using composition to produce the effect.
Wine glass filled with Stella Artois, also shot on orange card to blend.
Flashgun diffused to left power: 1/4 aimed at green card.
Flashgun diffused to right power: 1/4 aimed at glass.
Contrast and saturation increased slightly to make the image really pop.

Taken during the Canada Day long weekend. Decided to get out of the city and visit Jasper and Banff. Great scenery along the way but I was never a big landscape photographer.
Gardening is renewing and refreshing to your soul, especially when you’re doing it in a quiet rural setting. Accompanied by the nectar loving hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies, it’s easy for the gardener to slip into a restorative meditation.

This was a real find! A dilapidated building in Central London. It's so refreshing to see buildings such as this; they clearly add character to an otherwise bland environment. I love that little conservatory on the left along with the add-ons which are clearly out of keeping with the structure. We must do what we can to protect such buildings from refurbishment or flattening but a little restoration would help preserve this rather beautiful and interesting building.
I liked this angle a little better than the previous one. The depth of the glass provides some nice bokeh.

A beautiful spring day, a cold glass of water and my daughter blowing sparkly bubbles = very refreshing!
...think about having a balcony like this. You can go outside everyday and enjoy the fresh sea breeze. The view is wonderful especially with the clear divide between the green and blue ocean. That being said the owners have to hope that girls like Katrina, Rita or Wilma do not come knocking...
Remember what I said about the photo hang out? Well, THIS is the best representation of summer (in my opinion). A towel to dry myself after some swimming on the pool (if I had one), a refreshing apple juice to quench thirst and the typical sunglasses to protect your eyes.
