We went to Alsace in France these easters. We were so lucky with the weather, 20-25 in celcius and sun all the time.
This picture is taken in a square in the city Colmar, Alsace. As you can see the children play in the fountain to cool down.

Many find the New Year as a way of refreshing ourselves. So this week's assignment is to take a picture of something that is REFRESHING to you.
Do: Enjoy yourself while taking the shot
Dare: Include yourself in the picture
I find having a nice cup of tea refreshing and relaxing.
wit - setup by a south facing window, and used a reflection disc to fill in some shadows. Used a tripod and remote shutter.
in PP - sharpened the tea leaves, cropped and straightened.
A/C finally installed! Thermostat reads 80 but feels like a GLORIOUS 70 given previous temps. What a day and what a week! I think I sweated off ten pounds...ok maybe 1/2 that! Humming of the a/c is such a glorious sound! :-)
Spent the holiday with the family, doing the BBQ/swim party thing. The pool was so refreshing on such a hot day.
Miss M and I were offered ice cream to end out meals. While she chose green tea, I had ginger. This was a frozen ball of vanilla ice cream dotted with soft pieces of candied ginger root. It wasn't screaming of ginger, but it was light and refreshing.
