The reflective surface of the screen protector on my cell phone caused me a lot of frustration this week, many times making it impossible to see. I was taking a photo of these backlit leaves high overhead and was cursing my reflection, but I kind of thought it looked cool, too. After taking the intended shot, I immediately flipped to the selfie mode and took the shot of me looking up. I made a composite of the two photos. This is actually closer to what I was seeing as I took the photo because of the reflection!

Prompts: At last...my love has come along. My lonely days are over. And life is like a song.

The More London Complex reflects off the wet paving on an empty Boxing Day morning in London.

More London is a new development on the south bank of the River Thames, immediately south-west of Tower Bridge in London. It includes the City Hall, a sunken amphitheatre called The Scoop, office blocks, shops, restaurants, cafes, and a pedestrianized area containing open-air sculptures and water features, including fountains lit by coloured lights.

Lone male mallard out in the lake caught my eye. So common but still beautiful. This one's head was not solid green.

From St Albert, I noticed the sky starting to open in the north west around 7, and took a chance. Drove down to Edmonton, with about 30 minutes to spare before the sun set at 8:15. Sometimes the sky closes down, or it transforms into these brief, but incredible colours. There's a guy on the bench at the top of the hill, taking it in too.

Who needs vintage processing when you can use a puddle?

So instead of taking a picture of a reflection like I always do. I decided to take an object that is reflective and make it look interesting without showing a reflection. Well... this is the best I could come up with lol. Blue christmas lights reflecting off of Aluminum Foil. It is game day and I have a lot to do. Will catch up later. Have a great day everybody.
