From St Albert, I noticed the sky starting to open in the north west around 7, and took a chance. Drove down to Edmonton, with about 30 minutes to spare before the sun set at 8:15. Sometimes the sky closes down, or it transforms into these brief, but incredible colours. There's a guy on the bench at the top of the hill, taking it in too.
Probably thinking about its next meal.

So instead of taking a picture of a reflection like I always do. I decided to take an object that is reflective and make it look interesting without showing a reflection. Well... this is the best I could come up with lol. Blue christmas lights reflecting off of Aluminum Foil. It is game day and I have a lot to do. Will catch up later. Have a great day everybody.

This is an image I caught of myself last night... Reflected in my great grandfathers painting of flowers...
“You can't measure time by days, the way you measure money by dollars and cents, because dollars are all the same while every day is different and maybe every hour as well.”
― Jorge Luis Borges
I think I should've shot this vertically, but I was going for some symmetry on the water there. It's not a bad spot to do Wishes from if you don't feel like being packed in amongst the Main Street crowds.
I went on a trip to Italy recently and I finally found my connector cord, so now I can start uploading my photos from the trip. To make this immense amount of photos less of a blight on you, I've decided to release them slowly at a rate of maybe three each upload.

My son's love of trains is reflected in this photo. We can't seem to visit the local train museum often enough!
Rooftop veiw of Brompton Oratory. This is taken for the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. With the Science, Natural History and Victoria and Albert Museum there is no lack of beautiful architecture to take pictures of.

Taken on the London House Open Day 23/9/18 with Bognor Regis Camera Club the weather was not favourable so most of the time we worked inside the buildings.
What can I say…one of the most beautiful spots on Earth. Every time I've visited the place, it has been different, but it has always offered spectacular beauty. Sunrise gives the magnificent pink alpenglow on the mountains reflected in the beaver pond, but midmorning can be just as remarkable as the trees in the mid-ground become lit while the pond remains shaded by trees protecting against winds disturbing the pond's mirror-like surface. I shot sunrise here earlier in the trip, but I think this image is much more compelling. This image was also much easier to get as the hordes of photographers attracted to the sunrise scene had cleared out and given way to a smaller handful of people admiring the scenery.
