Watched this pair of snow geese head into the distant darker cover and tried for a photo by the exposure totally blew them out. Tried to salvage but still not very good by saving anyway for now. :) Photos taken while standing on the dam.
Heard there were some migrating snow geese at a small local lake so headed there even though very overcast. Quite a few there and numbers kept going up over the hour I was there. Guessing about 5-6,000. Nothing like the refuge that gets crazy numbers but still amazing to watch and hear. This is the same lake where the rowing competition is held when Covid-19 doesn't prevent it. Sorry for so many photos! :-)

Hosing out the cargo holds before we load stone tomorrow. Cargo contamination can be a costly mistake and tarnishes the reputation of the ship and company, so all hands on deck, work until everything is clean

“Usually, when the distractions of daily life deplete our energy, the first thing we eliminate is the thing we need the most: quiet, reflective time. Time to dream, time to contemplate what's working and what's not, so that we can make changes for the better." ~ Sarah Breathnach
Some creek, somewhere in Grand Teton National Park....for the life of me, I can't remember where I took this....guess that means I need to go back to figure it out....LOL!!!! Have a great Tuesday, and as always, thanks for stopping by to visit. Busy week for me, so I'll catch up with everyone as I can :-)

I was hired to produce 'different' dance portraits for someone who knows I don't really shoot portraits. Since I have a background and interest in dance though and since I knew she knew what she wanted I was excited to do this. It was a lot of fun.
