Thank you for your visits, comments and feedback - Really appreciate
This image is the last from my set up with a small baking tray. I have purchased a cheap garden gravel tray as an alternative, this will hopefully allow a lower angle which I can position my camera for future shots.

Seasons greetings & Happy Holidays :) :) ✌ ☮ ✌
While searching for inspiration for this weeks Macro Mondays I discovered I had many souvenirs, but this simple one stood out for me as a very special little memento. One day at work I found this little shell in my rucksack. Not sure where it came from, I asked my daughter. She told me she put it there to remind me of our lovely day at the beach. It's stayed in the pocket of my rucksack ever since..

and offered me a "window" to the world!
An early morning moment of reflection.
This photo was taken by a Kowa Super 66 medium format film camera with a Kowa 1:3.5/55mm lens and Kowa L39•3C(UV) ø67 filter using Kodak Portra 400 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
Too vibrant, perhaps, but couldn't resist seeing the reflection off the windows. Confused you, didn't it? Try and work out where all the reflections came from, it's really fun.
For the COTC pool, my most faved photo...

"Fall color" in January! (Well, it's California. And California Sycamores near the coast are like that.) This leaf appeared brighter in this perspective than otherwise. It had just fallen as I was admiring the reflective scene. And it drifted out of the light in a few seconds.

ET44AC #3133 leads train G843 west through Gainford Alberta. This shot ended up being a consolation prize for the epic failure that came from trying to shoot a VIA Rail deadhead move of equipment
Another image from last weeks sunrise shoot.
The colours aren’t as intense but I think I prefer the clouds and reflections in this one.
Let me know what you think.
