Another from the Red Water series. I was really struggling to find anything in the stream on this particular cloudy afternoon until the light started dropping and I spotted that from a certain angle these stones reflected the sky and tree canopy above. The top stone also reminded me of a bison.
A tied down and crew less unit oil train makes a decent reflection in a trackside puddle on a warm February afternoon at Athol Idaho

Phill is back from his break with a friend and it was his first morning without Mojo today. He couldn't get over how quiet it was. It still seems very strange not to hear her loud meows echoing around the house.
The CPKC holiday train is by Welsford, NB before daylight, with a decked out NBSR engine on the point. Seen here by Douglas Lake.

While searching for inspiration for this weeks Macro Mondays I discovered I had many souvenirs, but this simple one stood out for me as a very special little memento. One day at work I found this little shell in my rucksack. Not sure where it came from, I asked my daughter. She told me she put it there to remind me of our lovely day at the beach. It's stayed in the pocket of my rucksack ever since..

This image is the last from my set up with a small baking tray. I have purchased a cheap garden gravel tray as an alternative, this will hopefully allow a lower angle which I can position my camera for future shots.

A few seconds earlier the foreground area was lovely, but it dried out a little too quickly...it takes a little while to tilt and focus maybe (I should have just guessed the tilt angle). I quite like it anyway.

Peaks of the Livingston Range (Glacier National Park) reflect in the North Fork Flathead River at sunrise.
This weekend I had the good fortune to spend a couple of nights in Ford Cabin, across the river from Glacier and just south of Canada. We had spectacular weather that included this Sunday morning sunrise in 10 degree weather that frosted the trees and colored the skies.
