“There are two distinct classes of what are called thoughts: those that we produce in ourselves by reflection and the act of thinking, and those that bolt into the mind of their own accord”

we set off late on monday afternoon to go see if Rauceby Asylum was accessible...friends of ours had been recently and managed to walk straight into the 'building site"...several of the buildings are being demolished but they haven't gotten around to some of the others...this is the pick of that days selfies because it sort of places me in my dilapidated surroundings where the others from that day didn't.

Yesterday I attended the funeral service for a precious cousin on the Hennesey side of my family in Cuero, TX. It was bittersweet... he was a wonderful beloved funny & fun person with a magnetic personality with a precious loving family. He will be so missed as he was to his family what Larry was to ours, the patriarch of the family. A husband for over 50 years, a respected father, a precious grandfather... great-grandfather, an amazing uncle, brother, cousin and a admired friend and neighbor!!! It was reflective for me in that 3 months to the day we had my beloved Larry's Homegoing Celebration... so glad that I could be there to support my extended family and in doing so God comforted me through their love and kindness & reflecting on two lives that were fully lived & completely loved!!! Thanking God today & everyday for the blessing of family!!!

Another shot from the 458 shoot. Do you think it's a good location?

I didn't realise how hard it would be shooting a black car, I was surprised.

A few days ago I went to downtown San Jose, California. The water of the play fountain at Plaza De Cesar Chavez just turned off, producing nice reflections.

I processed 3 RAW exposures into a soft HDR photo. I am pleased with the result, the scene looks natural and vivid.
