My wife reflecting over a cup of joe. No pixel editing involved. Just a full cup of coffee and a couple of light sources along with a willing subject to contemplate life while enjoying one of life's great pleasures.
Reflecting flood, bare trees and dappled clouds - got to love the winter/spring dramatic change.

Reflected heavy machinery working in the darkness of the misty tunnels of an excavation mine. (Canon G5)
How many pairs can you see Large On Black kids? ;-)
New one for the Reflecting series. And I so nearly overlooked this one too - as I accidentally took it in B&W. [Oops!] But, as it turns out, it might actually be a personal favourite... with all the subtle pairs appearing throughout the image. : )
on old pictures and old times. When we would feel bursts of color and taste and texture and love, and then everything would fade into background. Indistinguishable. Today, everything is defined and bright and meaningful. Today is perfect.
105/366 - Reflections
I spend the day metal detecting and there weren't many opportunities for reflections, but thankfully the van we went in, was nice and clean and reflected the field.
Placed the camera against the shop window so I could get the reflection of the pillars outside the shop...

Reflecting Pool
Like lightening flash, our sojourn came and went
Us wandering and pondering while intent
On taking in all there was to be seen
The highs... the lows and the in between
Alas our time was short, the climate wet
Clouds ruled sky... no sunrise, no sunset
Yet in this vast Cathedral... without a roof
I came away with shining and singular truth
Together we can weather any storm
Survive catastrophe in any form
There was no need to rant or vent
For upon reflection, twas time well spent...
(Christine setting up to shoot at Otter Cove's inner harbor at Acadia NP)
Still practising shooting in manual mode. Must remember manual mode and manual focus are not the same thing!!!!! On the plus side it has encouraged me to pick up the camera again. :)

I may have cheated a bit here as after 53 attempts with much gnashing of teeth (yes I counted my efforts of futility) at getting a picture with me being reflected in a Christmas ornament, I took certain "liberties" in making that happen. But shhh- You didn't read that here!
We're Here is looking at Self Portrait in a Christmas Ball today.
An AF-540 at 1/2 with a CTO gel shot through a chair back to give the appearance of daylight. A blue reflector was set up opposite of the flash to reflect the light.
