Just on the outskirts of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania is the little borough of Rupert. As you drive through Rupert and around a bend out of town, you'll see this interesting little gem. There are a total of three cabooses sitting up on an abandoned piece of rail line that used to belong to the Reading Railroad. It's quite an interesting setup that I'd love to find more information on since somebody had to have put them there for something. I just loved the view and reflections.
Taken in 1977.
The reflecting pool at the Christian Science Center, with the Prudential Tower rising on the left.
(I was working in the Pru at the time, so I may have taken this on my lunch hour.)
Photo taken for Our Daily Challenge: I Have Never Shot One of These Before.
I drove up to the Pittock Mansion in the West Hills of Portland to shot the sunrise, something that I had never done before. (See First Light and The View below.) Then I noticed that the sunrise was reflecting in the large picture window of the mansion. (See Mansion below.) When I returned home, I decided that this reflection was the most unique of my 113 shots. I had to do some serious maniplating to get the original widow frame copied and straightened. Only two sides had been in the original photo. This too was something that I had never done before.

More droplets, I like 2 days off so they’ll be a few for now and then I’ll go quiet again.
I can’t seem to resize without losing image quality rather majorly which defeats the purpose of using my macro lens. I have tried GIMP and Microsoft Office Picture Manager, I don’t have Photoshop, any hints?
Orange/yellow water dropped into blue water, 2 Jessops 360AFD flashes backlighting, both on 1/16th power with blue diffuser over half. Used a smaller dropper this time. Got a few more I may upload.
1/200 exposure, F/13, ISO 100. Some edges of the drop @ 100% are slightly OOF, perhaps need to either move the camera back or see if I can get that aperture down a bit.

No, this is not a lake. Just a water logged area from a recent rain which is reflecting the Karakoram range in the Nubra valley. This vast valley of cold desert is at 10,000 feet is formed by Shyok river and the Siachen rivers.
This is for hereios who are visiting Mirror Mirror the Reflection Group today.
I've been doing a bit of reflecting myself recently... things are changing, some changes are welcome, others not so much. And there are things I wish I could change, but can't. Lots to think about...
(And yes, I seriously need a haircut!)

Good conditions this morning created interesting reflections and light patterns around Steven Proud's wonderful and very fast ocean racing yacht "Swish" as it rested at its mooring in the placid early morning waters of Sydney Harbour.
I've sailed long ocean races on Swish with Steve, and his boat is as much a joy to sail as it is to photograph.

The sun was setting behind her and was reflected off a glass storefront for some fantastic lighting.
