building opposite the city hall, with McDonalds on ground floor, and passing tram. City Hall reflected in all the windows.
Was born in Dallas, Texas and spent the first 12 years of my life in the "Big D".
I still recall my early years there in Dallas, but nothing holds a candle to the subsequent years living adjacent the Ocean in Key Largo, Florida (our backyard ended with the Bay)...not even living in the Texas Hill Country after that. There's something about living close to the Ocean/Sea that causes one to reflect about one's place here on Earth.
Picture of a child as he walks along the shore, perhaps reflecting upon the fact that it's good to be at the beach...
Balboa Beach, California.
Idwal, UK.
shooting at sunrise, the sun hadn't yet reached the lake, catching just the tops of the hills the reflected colours made for a stunning wake-up call!

Another shot from Ciudad de las artes y las ciencias in Valencia. This time in sunshine. This futuristic area in Valencia is home to various museums and entertainment venues. Here you have a cinema dome in the foreground and the opera-house in the background.
You can see more of my photos from Valencia in my Spain set
You should watch this Large On Black since that brings out more details. My pictures aren't balanced for a white background and a lot of the finer details are lost in this small format.

Vans reflecting in a local fishing lake, showing the lovely new retaining wall. The original shot for my Sunday Slide.
This weekend has been a sort of reflecting on many things in our lives. Without taking any new pictures, I looked through many of the old pictures and found this gem.
This was taken on September 21, 2012 when the Endeavor flew over the San Francisco Bay on it's farewell flight. It was a very magical day because Terry, David and I got there super early for the fog morning and the flight was an extra special treat.
The Endeavor only flew by once over the SF Skyline, and I was in the right place at the right time to capture it just over the TransAmerica building.
Be happy with what you have and what you have already. Earn it...
My reflected reflection in two adjusted supermarket shaving mirrors.
This is a Google Nik Collection Color Efex Pro 4 B&W conversion of my original posted on Instagram. In both cases, of course, the original image has been flipped horizontally!

Taken in Mission Valley, a tall glass building reflecting today's beautiful sky! I think it looks good on black.
