Still in a reflecting mood. These two photos are from my third visit to transpose. This was in 2009 and Jane had become a very good friend and very supportive. Dressing sessions were important as i had not really mastered the art of make-up. But I had discovered another person within. One that had less stress and more enjoyment.
I found I was more at peace as a woman I had found a deeper part of me and it was just so joyful.
I feel complete when I am Amanda I feel free.
Liked the simplicity of these reeds reflected in the Lake of Mentieth on a misty December morning.
I did this one before with a moon added but I think I prefer it without!
I dedicate this photo to the memory of Abdul-Rahman (Peter) Kassig. I hope that the example of service and kindness that you shared in your short life is reflected in all of those that have been touched by your sacrifice.
Photographed this beautiful glass sculpture of Tun Yee, a monk in Burma, by sculptor Oben Abright, at the Jotler-Coville Glass Pavilion in the Ringland Museum in Sarasotra, FL. The glass windows reflecting in the background along with the glass case added a different feel and appeal for me. I stylized the image in On1 with several different textures...
I have a new exhibition 'Repeat & Reflect' at the Zeigler Gallery. I'd be delighted if you went and took a look.

Sometimes even rainy days create some pretty things. So this really big puddle in front of the Underground station "Ruhr-Universität" in Bochum.
A gorgeous group of snowdrops reflecting and bathing in the afternoon sun in the small rockery pool at the Weir Gardens.
This was taken in Chelsea/Meat-Packing district from the High Line Park.
I've been playing with bits and pieces of reflections for about a year now, although I've mostly been using water. When I took this photo, I saw the three different buildings with geometric patterns converging, but it was only when I downloaded everything that I saw the distinct reflection of the third building and the shadow of the person watching.
I've had a bit of an absence from Flickr since my Valley of Fire photographs. I've had a lot going on and a lot of changes coming - the biggest one being that I am likely leaving New York City. So I guess I have to have one last photographic hoorah for the next few months.
Headed out to North Narrabeen with the @focusaustralia Group.

This is my buddy Alfredo; and to be honest, without his support and persistent encouragement, I don't know how my 365 project would have turned out. He is like a brother to me.
He may act as a badass in public, but he is one helluva friend.. he'll do anything to help you out if in need.
Here's to a better 2012 in all regards, buddy..
Check out his stream here.
