So I redesigned my MySpace profile a second time, inspired by NYC's ongoing Fashion Week. So hot right now.
Incorporated both existing and new furnishings to transform the client's previously 'pink and carpeted' bedroom into a restful retreat.
Don't design our child with our unlived life! The best gift we can give to our children is to allow them to flourish in a creative and new world, not to want what we couldn't live in them, and because the child doesn't want it, but it is in our control as parents, we think he will give it to us. live our unlived life so that our children can plan their own life...
... A mockup redesign I did for the Connect NY site, currently at www.connectny.info/. The site (and system) connects several library catalogs across NY state and is in dire need of a facelift (which you will see if you visit the URL).

All I ever do on craigslist is search, so I took the design guy redo and focused it on search. More about this on my blog.
A recent debate whether my logo is too similar to the Converse All Star had me thinking I should try something out.
I'm not deciding on anything just yet.

One of a variety of marketing concepts and designs I prepared for Creative Loafing-Atlanta. This concept for large bus shelter signage brands the "active voice" labeling concept, which I proposed for the section opening pages, and cements it in the public mindset.

Modeled after the classic generic Beer Can, this beauty is printed on a thin, soft piece of paper. Preferably two ply and perforated.
12 in. X 17in.
Inside layout with the train schedule. The design was simplified based off arrival and departure time(s) of trains and their corresponding locations.

Wilson Fletcher are working with us on the Porter Novelli site redesign.
Mark Wilson is shy about having his photograph taken, so he persuades me to let him pose behind a porthole. Bonjour matelot!
On second thoughts, he looks a little like something by Francis Bacon, albeit less anguished.

In fall 2012, DOT cut the ribbon on a comprehensive redesign of Manhattan’s Delancey Street on the Lower East Side. One of the latest in a series of safety projects citywide, the project shortened pedestrian crossings at 14 locations, increased pedestrian space and crossing time, and enhanced signal timing and travel lanes for vehicles entering and exiting the Williamsburg Bridge.
The redesign adds more than 21,000 square feet of pedestrian space along the street, restricts several vehicle turns and also makes travel lanes more consistent. A new vehicle access point at Clinton Street also simplifies the connection from the FDR Drive, eliminating the need for vehicles to travel through residential streets to reach the bridge via Norfolk Street.

The centre plates have been removed to open up the area below inside the hangar, thus allowing both the Visceroth AND the Myrdin to fit inside the hangar.
See...I go and build the crappy little Gnat fighter...and then I find out both the Visceroth AND the Myrdin fit..with a very minor modification.
The Myrdin requires 2 hangar units..so I can really only hold one in the current hangar.
If I make one with 2 hangars and the bridge in the middle..a Carrier, I could hold 2 Myrdin's 4 Visceroth's in the side hangars..and if there were a third hangar in the middle with arms attaching all three units together, with the bridge on top of the centre one I could hold 4 more Visceroth's.
It's amazing when everything falls into place.
