This male Ruby-throated hummingbird's redneck really shows up in the picture. You can see how florescent his neck is with the sun shining on it.

Taken during the summer of 2007. My husband put together this little tableau of a perfect Saturday afternoon.
The vintage b&w TV set sits at optimal viewing level, atop a plastic beer cooler and a galvanized tin washtub. A rusted beer opener rests on the TV, ready at a moment's notice, and a long extension cord runs to the garage.
That's my 1996 Taurus in the background. I miss that car. :(
We tailgated before the Hogs game at a nearby area offering free shuttle service to the game: upholstered seating on a flatbed pulled by a pickup!
