This is how the little Female Red Fox looks now as she sheds what is left of her last years winter coat. My next post is a similar shot taken of her last winter, when her coat was prime.
Quite a difference.
But, she is still a beautiful little girl! :-)

This family of fox made their home at the end of my driveway for a spring. They were so much fun to watch!
Mixed series of four. Sunday morning walk over local lake. I was watching a Sparrowhawk chasing a small bird when I noticed this fox watching me. I don't know who was more surprised! Also in two trees were six Magpies looking for mischief.
This Fox has become a regular visitor to our yard. We don't mind if he/she finishes off the peantus the birds or squirrels leave behind. Sometimes I will put a few peanuts out late, assuring there will be something on the rock in back.
This is my little buddy Chubsy I call him this because he get so chubby and he just waddles when he walks. I n this shot he walked up to me and sit down on the road to have his picture taken. They is still five pups they are growing and learn to hunt . I hope to get to go see them a gain soon ! Have a great Sunday everyone!

Series of five Part 2. The sun was out so to walk off yesterday's Christmas dinner I decided to go to the local harbour. I was not expecting to see much as it was quite busy, but a friendly walker told me she had already seen the Kingfisher, so I started looking for it around the outer harbour. While I was looking for it I spotted a red blob on the distant rocks. It was the lovely Red Fox I photographed a few weeks ago. Although it was right out on one of the harbour arms sunning itself the pics are not too bad. Nice Christmas present for me! I could not resist posting a few more pics.
