Recycle image using cut n' past pics from the net. I eventually created a pdf document of this image to save.

This was made for one of my older sisters who liked the other, similar pin that I made. All connections are made with small rivets.

Props for having some recycle but there was still an amazing amount of plastic other than bottles and no food waste drops.

The barrel is from a local hospital (don't worry - no biohazard materials) and the frame is the roll bar from a Jeep CJ7. The steel bar going through the center is from our closets. When we moved in the previous owners had used steel pipe for the hang bars in all the closets. We saved them all when we updated the closets... 9 years later we pulled one out for a compost bin. Who would have thought?!

I made these flowers primarily from recycled products: the flowers themselves are made from the pages of old catalogs/magazines & the 'stems' are cut from my sunflowers in the backyard.

we often hear that Keurig coffee pods are not possible to recycle and capsuls will remain in landfills forever. Switzerland proves kcups can be recycled

student work, 9th grade art class- self-portrait made from recycled materials: cardboard soda flats, scrap cardboard, and scrap fabric. Colored with water-soluble oil pastels.

I used welding wire bent into the basic shape, then placed into the centre of an old fibre optic lamp then attached the fibre to the wire tree and trimmed and shaped it. Now with the base done I covered it in a layer of paper mache and painted brown. Using an envelope from an old Christmas card cut out the leaves. For placement I put it on top of the recyclable bin with recycled rocks from concrete and bricks.

The issue I had was that the light didn’t show through the paper very strongly so proceeded to place pin holes up the trunk and through the branches in a spiral pattern, and although now you can see the lights in the dark my camera doesn’t catch the shot very well. I also had to be considerate of weight on the lamp base.

If I was to do it again I would probably leave out the lights but the finished product would still look like this.
