So here it is 40! Glad to get here. This is my life message. I feel Lucky and privileged to be 40. I've seen in the news and witnessed first hand those that have not. Life's dangerous and difficult. Stick with it. Dig in. Be safe. There's bad days I get it, there's mean people there's dreams that don't always become reality but there's also a lot of good and great stuff. Enjoy the little good things in life. The hug from a loved one the last cookie! When you look back there will be a lot of great things too it's just perspective as you get older you didn't see it when you were younger. Love all my friends and family. For those that believe God bless. For others best wishes going forward.

* Esta foto fiz eu fiz tratamento super radical no photoshop. Tratei a imagem em partes distintas, alterando levels, contraste, balanço de cores, saturação, sombras/áreas claras e um pouco de blur na linha do horizonte para suavizar o alto contraste, mas infelizmente aquele trecho da imagem não ficou como eu esperava! Porém, o conjunto me agradou pq a imagem possui uma mistura de real com abstrato que combinou bastante com a paisagem!
* I made some major treatment on this shot using Photoshop. Isolated the picture on distinct portions, changed the levels, contrast, colour balance, saturation, shadows/highlights and a little blur on the horizon line to smooth the high contrast, but unfortunately that portion specifically doesn't get the way I expected!
However, the whole package pleased me due to the fact that the picture blended so well abstract with reality, despite there's nothing unreal on it!

I was a little bored by the reality, so I thought of a new location for the Capitol.
in the branches of the massive tree that fell over.
things can be lovely and tragic at the same time.
lyd didn't quite get the focus of my camera, but i really like the eerie feeling. it's as if the tree is overpowering, and that's what you should really see.

A famous Cambridge landmark, Reality Checkpoint is supposed to have got its name during the 60's when students in an 'elevated mental state' would have to traipse home back over Parker Piece after a night out in town - arriving at the tangible Reality Checkpoint in the fog was presumably some reassurance in the middle of the empty and mysterious Parkers PIece.
The lamppost is regularly scrawled with its adopted name, and I have seen engraved brass name plates stuck on there too (the Council seems to take exception to any such supposed abuse, and quickly removes student daubings or other pranksters attempts to name this shrine).
