Abused, Abandoned Jungle Dogs.
Here's some good news 4 you.
Monday no# 1 and I will be returning
to the temple with injectable medicine
in hand. All the dogs will receive their
much needed injections. Rocky is a real
mess, others aren't as bad but will soon
be in the same situation. Right now as we
speak Boney Baloney is laying on my right
and Mr Little Larry is laying on my left. I can
reach down and touch both at the same time.
Pumpkin Pie is sprawled out behind me
sound asleep. Jungle birds are singing
their jungle songs serenading everyone.

now. You will be informed Monday ;-)

La villa de Puerto Real es un municipio español situado en la provincia de Cádiz, en la comunidad autónoma de Andalucía. La población como tal fue fundada el 18 de junio de 1483 por Carta Puebla de los Reyes Católicos.
Un histórico lugar que nació en la época de los Reyes Católicos y ha sido clave para la industria naval española durante siglos. Su patrimonio abarca desde la herencia de sus diques a yacimientos romanos, pasando por un espectacular entorno natural. The simple truth known to the brokenhearted, the mystic, and the physicist: what we think solid is not. What most of us believe constitutes the "real" material world - the stuff we can reach out, touch, hold, buy, and see - physicists all agree is actually not solid at all. In fact, what appears "solid" or material in our world is really 99.999999999999 percent empty space made "solid" by a miniscule fraction of matter that may not even be matter but wavelets of energy. Light is a particle that when we try and measure by passing it through a narrow opening behaves just like an ocean wave passing through a narrow harbor. Once through the slender opening, light wave and water wave fan out, each forming a crescent pattern. A far more accurate characterization of our universe would be "fluid."

First off, I am very disappointed with this photo. I had the idea of it in my head, but it didn't turn out at all. My sisters hand is in an awkward position and when I was taking the picture I kind of panicked and didn't take it at the right time. Argg....
Second, all of my digital photos lately have sucked! I have no idea what to do with my camera. Yet when I have my film camera I have been doing okay, but I can't just only take pictures with my film camera! That would require A LOT of film, which I don't have. I have loads of digital photo that I hate stocked up, because nothing has been turning out. I am stuck in a crappy rut. :(
Lastly, the weather here has sucked! It is overcast 24/7! Which doesn't work well with the few picture ideas I have. I need sun. I wouldn't even mind rain, but the clouds just sit up there in the sky and try to make me mad. Well guess what! It's working. I couldn't even see the Super Moon last night, so now I have to wait another 20 years. I need ideas. Utah weather is killing me here. And on top of all of that, I have to go back to school tomorrow and I haven't seen the ocean since August!

I hope you will appreciate an inside look at the Native American Indians. I tried my best at photographing the cover and back cover of my book. If anyone got screwed over it was the tribe’s of America.
Two views from this 'postcard' show the Tapestry Hall. I really can't identify the other rooms, but I loved the warm colours of the walls. Now I'm back home, I realise there was a lot we missed looking around the house and gardens, but my feet were still hurting, so it made exploring quite difficult. There are many more photos to come though!
En la actualidad, Europa Occidental sólo alberga poblaciones estables en Escocia, Noruega, los Alpes, Italia y la Península Ibérica, aunque en 2001 se liberaron 35 ejemplares en Irlanda (donde la especie se extinguió a comienzos del siglo XX). En Norteamérica se observa también un declive de la especie, aunque mucho menos acusado que en Europa, y en el resto de su distribución permanece estable. El águila real es una de las aves más usadas en cetrería, especialmente en Asia Central, donde se la utiliza incluso para cazar lobos y antílopes.
Debido a su gran capacidad de adaptación al medio, alimentándose de carroña en caso necesario (no es difícil observarla en vertederos en inviernos duros), el águila real ha conseguido mantener una población saludable, lo que su "prima", la imperial, muy dependiente del conejo, no ha conseguido en España. En España es un ave no amenazada, con una población estimada en más de 1.500 parejas. En Extremadura nidifican unas 125-150 parejas.
Al igual que en la mayoría de las aves de presa, las hembras son mayores que los machos, pudiendo llegar al metro de longitud desde el pico a la cola y los 2,3 metros de envergadura alar, y un peso de entre 4 y 6,5 Kg., mientras que el macho, de un tamaño menor, alcanza entre 1,8 y 2 metros de envergadura alar y un peso de entre 2,9 y 4,5 Kg.
El plumaje es castaño oscuro, tornándose dorado en cabeza y cuello y blanco en los hombros y el extremo de la cola. En los individuos jóvenes, el blanco abunda más en la cola que el pardo, relación que se invierte con la edad. Esta especie se incluye dentro de las llamadas águilas calzadas, ya que las patas están cubiertas de plumaje en lugar de tener una cubierta escamosa como en el resto.
We took a gondola ride, yes I know, very touristy, but it was well worth it! I had done my research beforehand and booked up in advance with a Gondolier based in the Jewish Ghetto. He gave us a wonderful tour around three districts of Venice; Cannaregio, Santa Croce and San Polo.

EL PAVO REAL Y LA GRULLA
Un pavo real convidó a una grulla a un festín suculento. Durante el banquete se puso a discutir con los comensales acerca de cuál de los dos poseía mejores dones personales.
Abriendo el pavo real su cola, decía que aquel abanico de finísimas plumas no tenía en el mundo otra cosa que le igualara en perfección y hermosura.
- Ciertamente - respondió la grulla -, confieso que eres más hermoso que yo, pero si tus plumas son más vistosas que las mías, en cambio no te sirven para volar.
- Yo, con mis alas - prosiguió la grulla -. Puedo elevarme hasta las nubes, contemplando bajo mis pies todas las maravillas de la tierra.
