Maybe there who want to top 3726 meter in expecting to wake up at 3:00 in the morning to enjoy breakfast banana pancakes or toast, coffee/tea, a trip to the summit of Mount Rinjani lasted about three or five hours, a field trip to the summit and weight quite tiring, deserts, craters, and canyons that seem unfounded, will force the adrenaline walking up during the 3-5 hour trip, so we recommend wearing an spectacles avoid splashing the sand and thick sweater, if for beginners to the top have to walk slowly, after our reached the summit of Mount Rinjani 3.726m. Approximate hours of 6:00, you will be able to see the incredible scenery, as you can see all parts of the island of Lombok. The signaller at Rainford Junction prepares to lower down the token for the single line section to Kirkby to the driver of Northern Class 156, 156 427. The 'Super Sprinter' was forming the 2K66 11:58 Wigan Wallgate to Kirkby service.
Rainford Junction station - built in 1858 - used to be a busy intersection of the Liverpool and Bury Railway, the East Lancashire Railway's Skelmersdale Branch and the St. Helens Railway. However, lines gradually closed during the 1950s and 1960s and by the 1970s the line was down to just the single route between Wigan and Kirkby and the station was renamed plain old "Rainford".
The signal box retains the full "Rainford Junction" name and - along with the semaphores - is a reminder of a much busier railway in times gone by at this location.

AC 200-1 with 7-section 68m telescopic boom fully extended and 17m boom extension attached at 20 degree off-set for a total system length of 85m.
Incredible side and vertical reach for such a compact crane with no boom guying system. It is also interesting to note that the crane can travel with this entire configuration retracted and stowed on-board.
The curve of the boom is not lens distortion. The boom on cranes like this model is designed to flex in this manner.
A view out the front of our bus as it heads round through Creekmouth and past the old Barking Power Station. This is on the eastern section not far from the return to reality where other bus routes reach!
Here is the trail from Crane Mountain Road to Pharaoh Mountain. If you are adventurous and have a 4x4 truck, you can follow an old logging road from the parking area at the wilderness boundary until you reach Alder Pond. Theoretically, you can drive all the way to Crane Pond but that is not recommended unless the water is very low.
