if you die will I get word that you're gone
will I hear it in passing conversation
or will I stop short and fall to the ground
distance is short when your hand carries what your eye found
hold my hand just one more time
to see if you're really going to meet me

Don't know what kind of plant this is, but its tiny green buds remind me a little of tomatillos.
UPDATE: It is Pokeweed...and toxic. Despite its beauty, I may have to pull her up. Don't want the pup to get curious.
Another UPDATE: Steph shot this plant while pup sitting for Pete. Her version is about a month later and the colors are much deeper.
