Jack Reacher movie premiere at Event Cinemas Bondi Junction, Sydney, Australia...
'Jack Reacher' enjoyed its Sydney, Australia movie premiere at Bondi Junction Event Cinemas this afternoon to a jam packed crowd and media scrum.
Lee Child told News Limited "Cruise is a fantastic Jack Reacher. "He always tries to stay out of trouble and yet he can’t walk away from something that needs fixing. He shows up, he solves that problem, and he moves on".
Jack Reacher joins the comp for the entertainment dollar, and meets strong competition in movies 'Django Unchained' (The Weinstein Co) and Les Miserables (Universal Pictures).

A homicide investigator digs deeper into a case involving a trained military sniper who shot five random victims.
Storyline:
In an innocent heartland city, five are shot dead by an expert sniper. The police quickly identify and arrest the culprit, and build a slam-dunk case. But the accused man claims he's innocent and says "Get Jack Reacher." Reacher himself sees the news report and turns up in the city. The defense is immensely relieved, but Reacher has come to bury the guy. Shocked at the accused's request, Reacher sets out to confirm for himself the absolute certainty of the man's guilt, but comes up with more than he bargained for.
Jack Reacher Synopsis: From The New York Times bestselling author Lee Child comes one of the most compelling heroes to step from novel to screen—ex-military investigator Jack Reacher. When a gunman takes five lives with six shots, all evidence points to the suspect in custody. On interrogation, the suspect offers up a single note: “Get Jack Reacher!” So begins an extraordinary chase for the truth, pitting Jack Reacher against an unexpected enemy, with a skill for violence and a secret to keep.
Director: Christopher McQuarrie
Writers: Christopher McQuarrie (screenplay), Lee Child (book)

Tucker Torpedo brochure, c. 1947. This concept drawing includes a centrally positioned steering wheel, doors that wrap up into the roof, and front fenders that turn when the car is cornering. These features did not reach production.
The Tucker 48 (named after its model year) is an automobile conceived by Preston Tucker and briefly produced in Chicago in 1948. Only 51 cars were made before the company ceased operations on March 3, 1949, due to negative publicity initiated by the news media, a Securities and Exchange Commission investigation and a heavily publicized stock fraud trial (in which the allegations were proven baseless and led to a full acquittal). Speculation exists that the Big Three automakers and Michigan Senator Homer S. Ferguson also had a role in the Tucker Corporation's demise.[citation needed] The 1988 movie Tucker: The Man and His Dream is based on the saga surrounding the car's production. The film's director, Francis Ford Coppola, is a Tucker owner and displays his vehicle on the grounds of his winery.[2] The 48's original proposed price was said to be $1,000, but the actual selling price was closer to $4,000.[3] A 1948 Tucker sedan was featured in the July 26, 2011, installment of NBC's It's Worth What? television show. The car's estimated value at that time was US$1,200,000. The car is commonly referred to as the "Tucker Torpedo". This name was never used in conjunction with the actual production car, and its name was officially "Tucker 48".

“Trapped in my body, my soul reaches out to hold onto my dreams….”

I had some difficulty with this piece. I really hope I got the perspective right. This is a bit of a personal piece and a source of inspiration for others out there who might not have anyone supporting their dreams.
Yep, not a drop of water in sight except for the puddle I was stood in to get it. My Reverse ND Grad also had a rare bit of use here. Best seen large or in my Flickeflu (click the link below). NO BANNERS PLEASE. Thanks for your visit.

In 2006, Carien Quiroga was commissioned by the DCCAH to create a mosaic mural for the Sherwood Recreational Center in D.C. Quiroga, who also provided art workshops for children at Sherwood, said that this project was inspired by an activity at the center called “hand dancing,” which originated in D.C. in the 1950’s as a version of swing. The name comes from the fact that while dancing, the two partners’ hands are always joined in some way. According to Quiroga, “the simple act of joining hands and reaching out to one another can lead to the building of bridges across all boundaries that exist within communities.” Her mural portrays how Sherwood does exactly this; it unites community members. This project is one of several commissioned by the DCCAH with the goal of revitalizing D.C.’s recreation facilities to create a more inviting and community-oriented environment.

"It must be borne in mind that the great tragedy in life is not in
failing to reach all of your goals--it is in having no goals for
which you are reaching.
It is not a calamity if somehow you die with dreams unfulfilled but
it is a calamity not to dream.
It is not a disgrace if you fail to reach the stars, but it is a
disgrace if you have no stars for which you are reaching.
It is not a disaster if you fail to achieve your highest ideals,
but it is a disaster if you have no high ideals for which you are
striving. Not failure, but lower aim is sin."
Benjamin Elijah Mays - Former President Of Morehouse college
