I think that the studium of this photo is the idea of lonliness. The guy in the bed looks like he is in a hospital bed. He looks so looks so lonly and helpless. However, the shadow of his hand makes it appear that something is reaching back for his hand. For me, this means hope. This photo doesn't shw helplessness, there is chance and hope that he wwill be okay. The shadow is reaching for him so that he is not truely alone. The punctum reveals that underneath everything, no matter what, there is always hope eve if you have to look in the shadows.

The center reminds me of baby birds in a nest... Straight out of camera imagery.

This is Reach Falls . It was a little disappointing because i remember it being less built up. They now charge a price to get in. It used to be a dirt parking lot and some bamboo stairs and there you were.

The moment I saw this tree on the shore next to where I was staying, I knew I had to capture it. Though the tree was dead, it still had character and still reached for the sky with all its might greeting each and every morning with its outstretched arms.
