We have raspberries in the garden! shame I don't like them, but those who do say they are sweet and delicious. Nice. We also had two little strawberry bunches, but... Tom went over them with the lawnmower :)

Today we made some marmelade using the last frozen raspberries we had left from our 2012 harvest.

With a weather forecast predicting 10 inches of snowfall the next couple of days, this is only a faint memory...

the best raspberries I've eaten since last summer

This is a variation on this strawberry pie, replacing the strawberries with raspberries and currants. I prefer this version over the one with strawberries. With the blueberries, this makes a nice summer pie perfect for the 4th of July. This would also be excellent with just raspberries.

The pie filling is made with raspberries, red currants, blueberries, cranberry juice concentrate, sugar, water, and cornstarch. The crust is made with bleached flour, salt, baking powder, butter, water, and vinegar.
