I originally found the brownie recipe here:

I got the idea of putting raspberries in them after making these:
www.smittenkitchen.com/2007/05/a-new-muffin-in-town
Here is the recipe as I adapted it with the raspberries:
Raspberry Brownies
1/2 cup butter (melted)
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
2 large eggs
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup chocolate chips
24 fresh raspberries
1. Preheat oven to 350°. Grease 24 mini-muffin tins.
2. Melt the butter if you haven’t already. Mix with sugar until well blended.
3. Add eggs, vanilla and coffee granules; stir just until blended.
4. Mix all dry ingredients in a separate bowl, and stir dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Add chocolate chips.
5. Divide batter among muffin tins and plop a raspberry in the middle of each brownie. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Do not overbake.
8. Cool completely before removing from tins.
This isn't here because it's a beautiful photo, although the main subject is. This is what I picked today. I was quite selective, leaving anything less than perfectly ripe on the plants. It still amounted to more than 1kg!
