Week 13: "FOOD"

If I knew you were coming I'd have baked a cake.

I make this a lot for company or to bring to someone's house. It's all in the look! It's a fudge brownie or chocolate chunk brownie in a round cake pan with homemade whipped cream made with with sugar and vanilla and topped with raspberries! Who doesn't like chocolate?

I'm not a big fans of raspberry juice (taste like cough syrup) but eating the raspberry itself taste so much different, i can finished the whole pack within minutes~!

Thinking about summer and farmer's markets...

I keep taking over land whenever and wherever I can find it. Might have to wait until next year to pick raspberries but that's OK as I never expected to ever be able to grow them again.

First fruit to come from this plant. It is usually a battle against the birds to be the first to eat the fruit as they fully ripen. A losing battle I should mention. I hate birds. Have to go buy some ugly netting this weekend

Wild raspberries grew close to the trail where we took a break. I would normally not eat wild berries in the DC area, due to probable pollution, but these grew in the middle of the woods. So very tasty!
