There 's nothing like cool temperatures and fresh air to raise the spirits. during my forays to the Alabama Hills the temperature can get up into the 100's and when they do, this is where I seek refuge. At around 9000 ft in elevation the difference in temperature is about 15 degrees and there nothing better the a fine mist that floats away from the falls right onto your weary soul.

Another Friendship Valley Music Festival in the books. Few places or moments encapsulate the word Friendship any where on the grid. Raise Your Horns - Halestorm
A Little Owl rousing........
Birds rouse by raising their feathers away from the body, shaking them out, and rearranging them. Often this behavior is performed during grooming, after a bath, or just when the bird feels content and relaxed. Rousing clears the plumage of any debris or excess water, much like a dog that shakes its fur out.
Closer, we're getting closer my friend

This week's theme for Mosaic Montage Monday was Raised. Blossoms are blooming and yesterday's snow gave them some extra dimension. HMMM!

A previously unpublished shot from February 2018 that would never have been published had it not been for the pandemic. I missed the focus on the leading eye which is a big no-no for me so I had consigned this one to the archive of mistakes.
I hope that you like it though - I don't know when I will be able to get new images. Stay safe.

This glorious millennium stained glass window by Paul San Casciani was inspired by the 1600 year old Yew Tree in the churchyard in Wilmington, East Sussex, England. But what entrances me is the reflections it casts on the walls when the sun streams in. The answers we seek are not just inside, they are literally reflected all around us.
