------------------------------ JESUS ✝️ SAVES-------------------------------
SALVATION THROUGH FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS ALONE!
❤️❤️ IT'S ALL JESUS AND NONE OF OURSELVES! ❤️❤️
1. Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2. BY THIS GOSPEL YOU ARE SAVED, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
3. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4. that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5. and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. 6. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. 7. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, 8. and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.
9. For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. 11. Whether, then, it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed. (1 Corinthians 15:1-11)
7. Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. 8. All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9. I am the gate; whoever enters through me WILL BE SAVED. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10. The thief comes only to STEAL and KILL and DESTROY; I have come that they may have LIFE, and have it to the FULL. (John 10:7-10)
Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!
So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus died that death for YOU and I. The good news is there no more punishment for sin left, we were and are all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

The Galah (Eolophus roseicapilla), less commonly known as the pink and grey cockatoo or rose-breasted cockatoo, is an Australian species of cockatoo and the only member of the genus Eolophus. The galah is adapted to a wide variety of modified and unmodified habitats and is one of Australia's most abundant and widespread bird species
Someone forgot to check the height of the bridge before sailing into it. Since this is The Titanic it will save the ship from hitting an iceberg and sinking. The bridge, on the other hand, didn't fare as well. I suppose this is what is called alt history. Who are you going to believe? Me or the history books. I've got this picture to prove I'm right!
So that’s what shieldbugs look like under their shields ! Don’t get to see that very often ! Happy Beautiful Bug Butt Thursday !

Kicking up a goodly amount of accumulating lake-effect snow is Conrail EMD GP40 No. 3009 leading an eastbound CR freight out of La Porte, Indiana, on a frigid, wintery February 25, 1990.
A completely unexpected shot today as these two swans took off quite noisily and with much flapping across the far side of the reservoir, took to the air, circled and flew low directly over our heads

This American green crab spider (Misumessus oblongus) seems to spend most of its time with its 'crab legs' raised. I don't know how this almost translucent white spider can qualify as 'green,' but I'm sure the body that names spiders, knows best. I don't know if this posture makes it seem like some 'normal' flower part or this is a temperature regulation strategy. The 'excessive heat' warnings continue across the state and nation as we prepare for the Independence Day celebration.

Another trip to Millers Wood in howling gales and sporadic torrential rain made for some interesting images. Luckily I was in the dry unlike my feathered friends.

Won't you come on and come on and raise your glass
Just come on and come on and raise your glass
Slam slam, oh hot damn

Wish you'd just freak out (freak out already)
Can't stop, comin' in hot
I should be locked up right on the spot
It's so on right now (so fuckin' on right now)
Three EJ&E SD38-2s, led by the 662, pull up to the signal at the Rock in Joliet, IL. To my knowledge, this date (2/25/10) was the last time a trio of Js led a train out of Joliet.
The Rochdale Canal in Hebden Bridge, Calderdale, West Yorkshire.
It is a broad canal because its locks are wide enough to allow vessels of 14 feet width. The canal runs for 32 miles across the Pennines from the Bridgewater Canal at Castlefield Basin in Manchester to join the Calder and Hebble Navigation at Sowerby Bridge in West Yorkshire.
The Canal was conceived in 1776, when a group of 48 men from Rochdale raised £237 and commissioned James Brindley to conduct a survey of possible routes between Sowerby Bridge and Manchester.
The promoters, unsure as to whether to build a wide or a narrow canal, postponed the decision until an Act of Parliament had been obtained. The first two attempts to obtain an act failed after being opposed by mill owners, concerned about water supply. The promoters, to understand the mill owners' position, asked William Jessop to survey the parts of the proposed canal that were causing most concern. Jessop gave evidence to the Parliamentary committee, and in 1794 an act was obtained which created the Rochdale Canal Company and its construction.
When an Act of Parliament was sought in 1965, to authorise the abandonment of the canal, the Inland Waterways Association petitioned against it, and when it was finally passed, it contained a clause that ensured the owners would maintain it until the adjacent Ashton Canal was abandoned. Discussion of the relative merits of restoring the canal or the Huddersfield Narrow Canal in 1973 led the formation of societies to promote both schemes in 1974.
The Rochdale Canal Society wanted to see the canal fully re-opened, as part of a proposed Pennine Park. They worked hard both to protect the line of the canal and to begin the process of refurbishing it. A new organisational structure was created in 1984, with the formation of the Rochdale Canal Trust.
In 1997, the Rochdale Canal Trust was restructured, in response to announcements that there might be large grants available as part of the millennium celebrations. The canal was still at this point owned by a private company, and the Millennium Commission would not make grants to a scheme which was for private profit, rather than public benefit. The restructuring would allow the Trust to take over responsibility for the canal. However, the plan was rejected by the Commission, and to access the grant of £11.3 million, the Waterways Trust took over ownership of the canal.

Christmas gave me a Duck that is supposed to be used in a bath and thought mmm i think there could be more use of this duck and here we are the duck`s first location in Northern France !
The tog`s i was with were all laughing at me when i was composing this beach composition and shall remain namless at this stage as i want all the attention on my new duck ! But hey what the duck ! nothing wrong in doing some light hearted photography that puts a few smiles or shall i say a few laughs and going by my last light hearted project with the Go Go`s it sure raised a few eyebrows lol.
The name for the duck came from a channel tunnel worker who decided to name it DJ Duck after i told him the story and laughed with us or at me lol.
Watch this song The Duck Song ;) www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtN1YnoL46Q

The church is the oldest church in Koblenz in the German state of Rhineland Palatinate, built between 817 and 836. The reconstruction of the church to its present shape and size began about 1160.
On 6 November 1944 St. Castor’s was damaged by a British air raid. In March 1945 the outer walls were also damaged by artillery. The stone material including the vault, however, remained largely intact. In 1948 enough money was raised for its reconstruction and a 25-year renovation began.
The Basilica of St. Castor has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage cultural landscape of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley.
Excerpt from the plaque:
Sujigane Gate
This is the main gate that leads to the Main Compound (Honmaru). It features thick zelkova pillars, a side door, and more than a dozen iron strips. As with the Fushimi Yagura (turret), the pillars and lintels are plastered over but their shapes remain visible. There are no diagonal angle braces, and the windows are made of bare wood. There are no holes from which to shoot weapons (sama), but the window’s lattice shutters are triangular to make shooting easier. The Mizuno family’s standing water plantain crest appears on the roof tiles. As for the interior, the part above the opening is raised and covered with a wooden floor, and there are earthen floors on either side (above the stone walls). It was not demolished upon the 1873 Castle Dissolution Edict and was designated as a national treasure in 1933, along with the Fushimi Yagura and Bathhouse. Along with the Fushimi Yagura and the Kane (Bell) Yagura, it survived the air raid on Fukuyama on August 8, 1945. It then became a national important cultural property, and was dismantled and repaired starting in 1951. In doing so, it was found that although many of the materials were replaced, a great number of the original materials remained, including things repurposed from other buildings. A repurposed pillar can be seen in a south window on the west side.
