The Speno rail grinding train is paying a visit to the Rio Grande main line over Soldier Summit, seen here at Colton, Utah. I have to think that this was an unpopular assignment with the crews, as the taste and smell of ground steel stayed with us casual observers for quite a while.
This is the norm throughout the island. Most of the land is prone to flooding and this is a most sensible way of enabling people to get around

Well I had to work at the Weekend, so decided to make the most of it by getting there early, so I could capture the sunrise! Which would have appeared to have been a good decision as we were treated to a pretty good one in South London, down by the Thames Barrier..;)

(Romans 10:1-13)
Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!
So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus took the death WE so richly deserved for us and died in our place. The good news is, there's no more punishment for sin left. WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

Had one more image to share from the inside of the "Cathedral of the Incarnation", this time looking out to the towering rear exit of the church. This shot was captured with a wide angle lens to help further accentuate the high walls and soaring ceiling of this beautiful cathedral.

"Raising the Roof" is a vertical HDR panorama image constructed from 20 bracketed shots using a 1 stop differential. The shot was processed in ACR, tone mapped w/ Aurora HDR, and stitched together / finished in Photoshop.
PS processing also includes the use of Topaz Labs plugins -- Adjust, Denoise AI, Glow, and Impression.
