After the rain at Ankgor Wat the sky was clearing and the temple was reflected in a large pool of water that had accumulated in one of the inner courtyards. Angkor Wat is a 12th century Buddhist temple and a UNESCO World Heritage Site near Siem Reap, Cambodia.

I'm so, so done with the rain and clouds lately. We need the rain in this drought, but I'm ready for some sun....
Lots of rain.
For 2 weeks now.....rain. And if it wasn't raining, it was still grey and gloomy and cold.
The sun came out for a while one afternoon last week, so I ran to the garden store, grabbed a bunch of stuff, came home and planted, as the forecast was rain the following day.
I still want a few little things to fill in, but figured I'd get them in a day or two when the rain stopped and the sun came out again.
But I've learned you have to be really specific about your wants.....I meant when the sun came out here!
Which it hasn't. Arg.
Hope it's sunny somewhere.......on planet earth.
Comments disabled b/c I'm grumpy. ;-)
In this shot, the horizon is roughly on the middle line ... I was not able to decide if the sea or the sky was more beautiful! I hope you like it the same ...
Taken a year back on a trip to Yellowstone NP. This small rain storm led to a amazing rainbow across the valley which I posted previously and never really looked at the other images prior to it. I like this one two, as the rays of the setting sun get caught in the downpour out in the valley and the distant mountains.
