It was raining all day, but by the end of the day the sky clear up so I decided to take a walk by the woods after work and try to catch that special 3D pop that is only possible under particular light conditions but not quite there yet.
What do you think? Does it have that 3D look?

. . .in Lake Woebegone, my hometown, on the edge of the prairie. . .certainly do miss those weekly, Saturday evening radio broadcasts from American humorist Garrison Keillor. Stories from the fictional town that time forgot played from 1974 until 2016, but the fabulous, humorous monologues can still be heard as podcasts. www.prairiehome.org/

(Enya - Listen to the rain)
Everytime the rain comes down
Close my eyes and listen
I can hear the lonesome sound
Of THE sky as it cries
Listen to the rain
Here it comes again
Hear it in the rain
Feel the touch of tears that fall
They won't fall forever
In the way the day will flow
All things come, all things go

Thank you very much all of you for your visit
My rose 'A Whiter Shade of Pale' has graced our garden with another bloom before winter sets in. Photographed this morning in rain and heavily processed in PicMonkey Pro and Topaz Studio. I'm still not sure about the outcome ...
Anyway, another excuse to attach some music - so here goes, one of my faves of all time 😊!

We've had so much rain lately, which is the usual weather for this time of year. It is winter, after all....
Happy Monday to all of you!

I barely left Yarndley's Bush, when it started raining! Halfway home, between Te Awamutu and Otorohanga, the rain eased off and a beautiful rainbow, then an amazing sunset, presented themselves! (see previous photo..rainbow)
The bare earth, plantless, waterless, is an immense puzzle. In the forests or beside rivers everything speaks to humans. The desert does not speak. I could not comprehend its tongue; its silence...

♫Creedence Clearwater Revival - Have You Ever Seen The Rain?
"Someone told me long ago
There′s a calm before the storm – I know
It's been comin′ for sometime
When it's over, so they say
It'll rain on a sunny day – I know
Shining down like water
I wanna know, have you ever seen the rain?
I wanna know, have you ever seen the rain
Comin′ down a sunny day?
Yesterday and days before
Sun is cold and rain is hard – I know
Been that way for all my time
′Til forever on it goes
Through the circle fast and slow – I know
It can't stop, I wonder
I wanna know, have you ever seen the rain?
I wanna know, have you ever seen the rain
Comin′ down on a sunny day?
Yeah!
I wanna know, have you ever seen the rain?
I wanna know, have you ever seen the rain
Comin' down on a sunny day?"
English translation:
Things transform within me,
It is like rain on the sea,
It crumbles like this in
Waves passing through me,
A body is blown in the air,
Like a name to call
It is only someone being baptised,
Name to call of
cloud, window, clothesline,
Wing, desire, yard
The horizon far away,
All that the eye can see
And what no one hears,
It invades you non-stop,
It transforms you without anyone noticing,
Phrases, voices, colors,
Waves, frequencies, signs,
The world is too big.
Things transform within me,
The world is like this for everyone,
That will never change

Portuguese (Original) :
Coisas transformam-se em mim,
É como chuva no mar,
Se desmancha assim em
Ondas a me atravessar,
Um corpo sopro no ar
Com um nome p'ra chamar,
É só alguém batizar,
Nome p'ra chamar de
Nuvem, vidraça, varal,
Asa, desejo, quintal,
O horizonte lá longe,
Tudo o que o olho alcançar
E o que ninguém escutar,
Te invade sem parar,
Te transforma sem ninguém notar,
Frases, vozes, cores,
Ondas, frequências, sinais,
O mundo é grande demais.
Coisas transformam-se em mim,
Por todo o mundo é assim.
Isso nunca vai ter fim.

Seen while taking a walk in my neighborhood. It rained overnight and had just stopped drizzling / misting a short time before we took our walk.

We call this RDF (rain drizzle fog) and in Newfoundland those letters are synonymous with spring. I fight it.... Stay inside... Refuse to take photos of it.... Complain about it endlessly.... But yet here it is for what feels likes months.... So eventually I give up and pretend the RDF is pretty and inspiring.
This week I'm embracing my most hated season and posting springs RDF.
Yeah, I know, I'm just a walking, talking tourism commercial and little ray of sunshine today!
:-) Happy Monday all! :-)

Posted for the "Happy Caturday" theme "Songs".
The Beatles: Rain, May 1966. Probably the first "psychedelic" song I heard... ;)
