Heavy rain departing to the North East over the North sea as I was leaving the house this morning.

As yesterday gave me all different shades of gray in Mælifellssandur, now it is black.

The rain washed everything away..

It's still raining. But so far the roses don't seem to mind.

Grevillea bloom in my southern Gold Coast hinterland home where The Wet just keeps on giving. Another sun shower — bejewelled.

Yesterday it looked practically the same! August 1st in the rain!

Spring rain approaches the fisherman south of St. Joseph.

about to float...

It's difficult to see windows out of a window when it's raining like this.. Happy Windows Wednesday, Everybody!!!!!

"Inside a broken clock

Splashing the wine

With all the Rain Dogs

Taxi, we'd rather walk

Huddle a doorway with the Rain Dogs

For I am a Rain Dog, too

Oh, how we danced and we swallowed the night

For it was all ripe for dreaming

Oh, how we danced away all of the lights

We've always been out of our minds

The Rum pours strong and thin

Beat out the dustman

Give my umbrella to the Rain Dogs

For I am a Rain Dog, too"

A welcome to the newest member of the family - a 1967 LOMO Voskhod! It's taking a bit to get used to, as it is completely manual, but so far it has been a lot of fun to use.

The Lomography Berlin, aka ORWO N74+/N75, film stock is interesting. It gives everything a very moody, grey tone. I don't think I'd use it frequently but I can see some cases where it would perform well.

Camera: LOMO Voskhod (1967)

Lens: f2.8/45 T-48 fixed, triplet style with lanthanum glass.

Film: Lomography Berlin 400 B&W

Scan: Lab scan.

Little overcast today, might see a little rain :D

The weather recently has been less than acceptable all over the country and yesterday was no different. I wanted to shoot something and just get out for a while, so I found a field with sage grass being saturated with the misting rain. The light was awesome, like a huge soft box so I used a long lens to isolate the subject and focus on those tiny droplets of cold.

Thanks for stopping by.

I decided to re-visit Zion National Park with one image. I got to thinking this evening how much I enjoyed being there. It was almost like walking on a very hot day and then a cool rain storm comes quickly and rains on you. It does feel so good. Actually I did get rained on a little by this small water fall and with temps well over 100 that day, it did feel oh so nice. :)

It is much better when viewed "Large".

Water drop (Many hours to place it just right) LoL

I captured this view over the hills of the german Eifel near Berg-Krälingen.
