Burlington is just far enough south that it still has some nice colours. Unfortunately, between work and rain I didn't get to see them this year, except for last Sunday when I made time to visit a friend, and grab some pictures as well.
Mount Nemo is worth discovering because this conservation area has one of the best cliff ecosystems on Ontario’s Niagara Escarpment. Rich green ferns blanket limestone boulders scattered among old growth forests that are alive with jewel like birds. Crevice caves and ancient cedars, a thousand years old, can be seen all along the meandering cliff edge trail.
An interpretive lookout with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside lets visitors know why this natural environment park is worth protecting. Parking and connections to the Bruce Trail are available at this intriguing conservation area

Incredible black clouds over the Valley last night. Lots of heavy rain too.
Hehe, we were all watching it, celebrating the rain and our English visitors were all like "Huh? What's the big deal?"
Rain on the car window. I was sitting at a stop light with my camera in the back seat with my lensbaby double optic attached. I reached back aimed out the window didn't focus and hit the shutter button. Oh ya, I was also the driver.

One of Dartmoor's most remote rain gauges on the summit of Cut Hill deep in the heart of the moor, photographed on a crisp frosty morning. Numerous clues for Dartmoor letterboxes emanate from this feature.
Natural resources are very helpful indeed if you can make the most of of them. When the girls at this school were eating there dinner, the rains came upon us and drenched everyone causing people to take shelter. The rain comes in so handy for washing up.
I posted this one yesterday but I couldn't stand the power lines so I gave a try to editing them out.

there had been a wedding at the lillie pond park, a rain storm broke the party up and this was all that was left.

Late last night we had an unusual occurrance of lightening followed by thunder boomers and heavy rain/freezing rain.
You can find amazing things outside after rain! Like Squirtles. :3
