Here's a pic of what was the Parramatta Park Steam Tram as I remember it being back in the early 70's , This is a pic that my Dad took back in 1972 when I was just a little kid & I'm about in the middle of the trailer car on the front platform just behind the Steam motor ; Thankfully it's been preserved & can be seen up at the Valley Heights Railway Museum in the Blue Mountains just to the West of Sydney by the N.S.W. Rail Transport Museum ( Trains Heritage N.S.W. ) should you wish to see it.

In the years immediately prior to the new look for British Railways "British Rail" there does appear to have been a determined change to modernise the 'look' of the railway and publicity was issued moving away from the rather staid BR totem and the use of Gill Sans. Many of these items of advertising making use of an arrow motif - slightly 'Granada TV' to my eye and here is is put to good use formaing part of an ice crystal pattern for winter sports.
The brochure lists various European and Scottish resorts and the travel arrangements there by train. It includes details of the short season of "The Alpenrose Express" from London Victoria at 1430 with an Austrian arrival the following morning via Calais and a sleeper/couchette connection. I can find little about this although BR did issue a poster for the service c.1964 so this could help date this undated brochure.
I've had to clean this scan up a bit - my copy was obviously stacked 'wet' with others and so the cover colours have bled all over the place!
