Despite the dog, we still have plenty of rabbits around our yard. This little guy (or gal?) was sitting outside my kitchen window, having breakfast the other morning.
They hop, they swim, even underwater. One of them became infamous for threatening President Carter.
This one lives near the St. Johns County boat ramp.

Recently I've started playing around with an old point-and-shoot camera that I bought about 4 or years ago. It's not brilliant, but given the right conditions is certainly able to capture few decent 'snaps', as hopefully these shots demonstrate.
So, earlier this weekend my girlfriend and I took a wander around Hampstead Heath and Kenwood House. There we met this very accommodating rabbit, who seemed more than happy to be the star of an impromptu photography session.
When I was on Lunga in the group of islands known as the Treshnish Isles off the west coast of Mull a few weeks ago. I noticed some lovely pure black rabbits. These are apparently descendants of the original domestic rabbits kept on the island by he residents for food many years ago. Now feral these feed on the grasses and wild flowers and are quite at ease with the visitors to Lunga providing they don’t get to close.
I spent a few minutes getting some images of these beautiful animals.

"Rabbit in headlights"?
Pity the pests have to be so cute.
