Petit repos, faut dire que Barnabé est un expert en repos, mais il va sur ses 8 ans mon gros bonhomme.

Comme vous le constatez à l'arrière, il mue encore et toujours. Ca dure des mois chez Barnabé, c'est terrible. C'est probablement dû en partie au fait qu'il est castré.

Je le trouvais tellement mignon, dommage qu'il se retrouvera possiblement dans nos assiettes

Rabbit fest in Vancouver, BC. Put on by VRRA (Vancouver Rabbit Rescue & Advocacy), it is a great meating place for Rabbit owners, with games, grooming, free vet checks, as well as general information for good rabbit health.

The ranch where my grandmother lived in SE Washington occasionally held jack rabbit roundups. The hunt was viewed as a social event, with people getting together afterward for food and drink. The carcasses were sent to Spokane to be used in dog food. This is around 1915.

This rabbit was just outside the window in our backyard.
