my favorite shirt for 10 years, the computer guru tee shirt, which was dangerously threadbare before I left, did not survive the thrashings of indian laundrymen who clean clothes by pulverizing them against a hard surface. the holes at the shoulders are now too big to wear in public.

I will not bring it home. rather I will send it to varanasi to have it flamed into nonexistence at the river.

btw that structure behind my hotel courtyard is the bundi castle.

there's an interesting story behind this picture:

So there was this thing at school promoting school spirit where a class could win an ice cream party (dude, what a lame prize!) if they could make a human pyramid of their whole class with the teacher in the bottom center... well, let's just say my jeans didn't survive the event. There's nothing else to say.

It was the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to me in a public place. Ever.
