there's an interesting story behind this picture:
So there was this thing at school promoting school spirit where a class could win an ice cream party (dude, what a lame prize!) if they could make a human pyramid of their whole class with the teacher in the bottom center... well, let's just say my jeans didn't survive the event. There's nothing else to say.
It was the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to me in a public place. Ever.
(you should read the tags I used for this photo... haha!)

Dick was a good buddy to many of us in the machinist community here on Long Island. These pics are from when he worked at Brookhaven National Laboratory.
Oh, and a bunch of us caught covid at his wake...
My camera fell on the floor and my 50mm lense broke!! I have enjoyed using it a lot, so I have it in my wishlist for the next amazon shopping.
I liked the light and shadows I had at the moment of this shot, so I took a picture of the broken lense as I would have done with the 50mm. The shadows seem to be coming to meet the broken soul...

Sorry, not the most cheerful of images I know! I was feeling a bit beat up yesterday, so don't ask me why I went to a graveyard! I was hoping a big black raven might come and perch itself on top of the gravestone to complete the picture, but no luck. Do you see the spooky face in the tree?
