Cuddles ♥ 2009 - 2019 (we were his third family, from 2014 to the end.. we miss him so much..)

Ashley Mark Thorley, 29, died in a crash between a car and his motorbike in Sheffield on Sunday morning (September 4). Ashley - known as Ash – died at the scene outside the Esso petrol station in East Bank Road.

This is one of the two sad jobs I attended that weekend..

It was good to get the chance to attend the funeral and join in with the hundreds of bikers who turned out for the funeral procession...

The world is a little less exciting after losing another beautiful big cat.

RIP the unique & fantastic Yma Sumac, 1922 - November 1st 2008.

Yma Sumac, 'Peruvian songbird' with multi-octave range, dies at 86

i just found out about Yma's death today - i was just talking to my best friend last night about her.

i'd been a fan since my late teens/early 20s when i first heard her album Legend of the Jivaro, & she was one of Aly's favourite singers (his favourite song by her seemed to be Gopher from the fantastic Mambo album).

RIP Shelby---he died peacefully in my arms of old age yesterday.

25 January 1994 --- 6 February 2009

This was right near the door at the end of the 4th floor hallway. It looks as if there is some graffiti, a rip in the wallpaper and what I found as odd was flypaper stuck to the wall. If you look at the top left at my note, there are flys sticking to the wall.

Damaged library book. Title = "NERDS 2: M is for Mama's Boy"

There isn't any blame to be placed, hope was rekindled and in an instant it was ripped away. Only a few words and I'm left feeling as though my seams are tearing apart, and that part of me, the part I've kept buried so deep is emerging again.

It isn't anyone's fault, but this part of me is open, raw and exposed.

It tastes like acid as I try to breathe, burns like toxins as I smile. It has been so long I'd forgotten it was just an act.

I still can't bring myself to speak what needs to be said and I don't know if I should thank you for reminding me or just fade away to heal.

I've had this idea in my head all week, and was just waiting for a day when I had the time to actually get it done in a way I was happy with. I feel it could have been better, and the vision in my mind looks a lot better than the shot does, but this will do. I'm hoping it conveys the text I had written for it.

I'm behind on flickr the past few days, I'll be playing catch up tomorrow and Sunday, as for tonight, well I'm off to enjoy a couple beers with a friend and forget about this week.

Stencil street art by RIP, seen in Manchester, England. Not sure who or what Albion is.

Today, law enforcement officers around the state paid tribute to our fallen brother Deputy Darren Goforth who was assassinated by a crazed scumbag near Houston, Texas. Today, Uvalde County Sheriff's Office, Uvalde Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Uvalde County Constables, SWTJC Police, United States Border Patrol and Department of Homeland Security Office of Air and Marine ALL paid honor to Deputy Goforth by stopping traffic on Main St. (Highway 90) in Uvalde, Texas running lights and sirens for one minute in his honor. Please pray for Deputy Goforth's wife and child.

With great sadness we report that Orson, the beloved black jaguar, passed away today. He was euthanized after staff recognized that his increasingly geriatric condition was affecting his quality of life. Orson was almost 22 years old--a very advanced age for his species--and was a well-known resident of the Zoo. Please take a moment to offer condolences to Zoo staff who will be feeling this loss. RIP big guy, we'll miss you dearly. :'(

Ripped jeans

It's with a heavy heart that I post this today. RIP Peter Carroll aka @laserburners you were a funny and generous soul, a true NYC kid. I'll always remember this day from years ago, running around underground the freedom tunnel with you and @rfullerrd taking flicks, bullshitting and laughing. And then all going for Mexican food after an exhausting trek. It's seems appropriate to post this pic of us taking a shot of Jack from your flask while standing in the muck. It was a great day. @lunapark he was one of the good ones. I'm so sorry for your loss. Rest in Power my friend. photo by @rfullerrd

Red Red rips making some gel ,i love that bright red color and i love the wood i had hubby drag home haha talk about getting props

I like that ripped edge. I wanted to keep a photo.

So for the pages that aren't being used in the journal, I didn't want to keep them blank, so I cut out pages from some magazines and glued them there!

I looks pretty cool :3

I was in NYCs Meat Packing District the morning after I heard the horrible news of the untimely death of one of the fashion industries most beloved designers, Alexander McQueen. These memorial flowers and a framed letter from Alexander's loved ones marks this sad passing (outside of his NYC store). R.I.P. Alexander McQueen.

I slid from the couch to go pet the cat on the floor with my knees

Wow, I can't believe it's all gone. It's sad, Mario kart Wii was so much fun with this, but at least we can look to the future in hopes that Mario kart 8 will be just as good, and hopefully better. I had fun with friends from Flickr and real life, and I will miss it dearly. Because I don't see my friends that often. I've got so many great memories. So much fun.
