One of my boys' friends came by for a while tonight. I was syncing photos onto my computer and made him sit still until it was done so that I could get the shot of his ripped jeans. They put up with me for some inexplicable reason. :)

One of the last great titans of Sci-Fi, Ray Bradbury author of such classics as Fahrenheit 451 and Martian Chronicles passed away today.

(I took this picture in 2004, minutes after finishing the book for the first time. My original intent was, in an ironic twist, to burn it. It felt fitting end for the book.... but I couldn't do it.
I still have this singed copy.)
