Reza a traîné ses guêtres sur bien des sentiers tout autour de notre planète. Entre guerres et paix, ils l’ont conduit à rencontrer de nombreuses destinées : hommes, femmes, enfants d’Iran jusqu’en Afghanistan en passant par l’Algérie, l’Inde, l’Éthiopie… Et tant l’ont marqué.
Avec la sensibilité qui le caractérise et ce talent incroyable pour retranscrire les émotions d’autrui au travers de ses clichés, Reza raconte ici des mémoires d’humains. Au-delà des frontières, des diversités culturelles, des guerres meurtrières, ses images de photo-reporter ne veulent jamais retranscrire le seul constat résigné de vies mutilées.

Reza, c’est le sourire derrière les larmes, la beauté derrière la tragédie, la vie toujours plus forte que l’adversité, et une quête constante de ce qui nous rapproche plus que de ce qui nous divise. Un photographe de guerre engagé pour la paix.
Sur l’esplanade de la gare de Cergy-Préfecture, en plein cœur de ville pour la rendre accessible au plus grand nombre, le No Mad festival expose un des plus grands noms de la photographie contemporaine, lequel s’attache à montrer l’universalité de l’Homme de par le monde.

This little avatar has come a long way. From having difficulty walking and even thinking if I were killed in SL I would lose my avatar...to running my own business, with wonderful employees, to finding love, losing my love (he passed away), to finding love once more.
