Every April 100 ONDA members gather to work on a restoration project, dance, drink beer and get caught up on "all things ONDA". This year our restoration project involved installing 15 beaver dam analogues in Pine Creek and using juniper trunks to protect plantings from browse.

My first restoration. Used Photoshop CS3 and Capture NX2 to fix creases, tears, and color damages. Replaced original drape background with a more modern portrait background. Darken suite, hair, and eyes for more formal and dramatic appearance.
Popped down to Tollesbury this afternoon and spent almost 5 hours (!) pottering around the sea-wall and salt marshes. 288 shots taken! Bit of a bracketing frenzy really. I was looking for a pov that showed the granary well. Developed for contrast, heavy blacks and somewhat de-saturated.

The chrome trim around the tail light lenses was faded and totally missing in some spots. Nothing a little silver sharpie couldn't fix!

Dang it! At 1st I thought this would be simple. IE: use Autostitch to make panorama of these 2 photos. Then do a little healing brush & levels & I'd be done. Boy was I ever wrong. Autostitch wouldn't take them. I figured out why. These 2 photos were taken some distance apart. After playing with the distort tool for a long time this is the best I could get.
I used the distort tool the most to try & get these two blended. Without the success I hoped for. I then used the clone & healing brush tools. And some levels adjustments too. It still looks crappy.
With my house being built I just don't have enough time this morning to fix it any better. I'll do it again later. This is only my 1st effort & about 2 hours work.

We assisted Providence Place, a local charity that is over 100 years old and specializes in providing homes for babies who are given up for adoption, and a 24/7 on-campus training and consulting program for disabled youth in basic skill sets, such as washing their clothes, cooking their own food, balancing a checkbook, how to use the local transportation system, etc., so they can eventually live independently. No disability is considered too great for this program. It includes almost anyone such as wheelchair-bound quadriplegics who are unable to speak. And the program produces fantastic results. You can view their website at providenceplace.com.
This year we removed and replaced 190 LF of 7-foot-wide covered walkways attached to adjacent buildings that are almost at the point of being safety hazards. These walkways provide year-round cover from the weather as students transition from their apartments to the dining hall and classrooms around campus.
