Main floor bathroom. Of course, the fixture will have to be painted around or temporarily removed again once I get to that point. One of the shades isn't there because I lost a screw that holds it in place.
Below you can see a piece of the wainscoting that will eventually be installed as well. Right under the lights will be the pedestal sink, wainscoting, shelf, medicine cabinet... etc. There is no sink in there now and the new toilet and floor aren't in yet either. Just the new light and new outlet.

Intensified Wood Restoration, LLC. was contracted by the State of Michigan MDOT to fully restore their Welcome Center in Chocolay, MI.
We replaced well over 150 lineal feet of logs. We also made some upgrades with the addition of fiberglass grating along the deckside eave wall. This will allow for more airflow and will help keep any backsplash off of the logs when it is raining.
We also fully stripped the building using Star10 stripper based out of Muskegon, MI.
Once stripped we fully sanded every piece of wood on the exterior of this log building (including the deck). It was tedious but the results speak for themselves. When I go in there I am alwys told that people asked if they built a new log building.
If you are in Marquette, MI go check it out and let us know what you think.
