On this Monday Mid Afternoon November 11th ( Veterans Day) 2024, We see off-duty New Mexico State Park Ranger for Eagle Lake Joe King Jr talking with his father Joe King Sr as Joe Jr shows him the new Remembrance Statue that honors the U.S. Military personnel who lost their lives or were injured serving in the United States Armed Forces in the past, current, and future at home and abroad. The Statue Is located At Government Center Park in Sparta the County seat of Hazzard Range County.
Joe Jr is taken his father to a joint assembly for Middle and High school students Joe Sr is one of the few remaining WW2 veterans living in the county. He Turned 100 in Sept and only served in the last months of the war, Joe Sr is also a veteran of another kind of Law Enforcement for 30 years with the county sheriff’s office and State police along with 11 years as County sheriff ( 1970-1982 ) .
The first year he was Sheriff Joe Sr met his wife Sally whose Brother Adam is a Veteran of the Vietnam war (1955 – 1975 ). Joe Jr is Married to Dolly a current Lieutenant of the Sheriff’s Office
The Ram 3500 passing belongs to the Inter-County Railway ( ICR) Shop Foreman / Mechanic /Maintenance Doug Lunas who is a Veteran of the Iraq War ( 2003–2011) behind the Wheel, conductor/brakeman/Maintenance Jose Arrey in the passenger seat they are parts run. Jose is married to Michelle Arre,y who was a County Sheriff’s Office deputy till a car accident in 2012 left her permanently disabled. Her older sister is a Veteran of the Armed Forces and saw deployments between 2005 and 2022.

On this Friday Oct 6th ,2023 late morning ,we see local Farmer Susan Howard picking up some empty egg cartons after dropping off full egg cartons at Maxwell Pharmacy ,we also see Hazzard Range County Sheriff’s office Deputy Carmen Cortez talking with local man about goat incident at 82 annual county fair that left many pumpkins and other produce destroyed. Hence why Susan’s truck has load of pumpkins as that is her next stop at the fair .

On this Thursday Oct 26th,2023 late afternoon ,we see a BNSF freight slowing passing by the old Sparta depot as two mean talk one is Inter county Railway ( ICR ) Mechanic/ Maintenance Carlos wick who is waiting on his coworker Jose Hack for they can go pick up two ICR workers Engineer Tom Jayle and Conductor Alan Montoya they tied down train at the Gravel pit for the day about 15 miles from here .Sparta the County seat of Hazzard Range County .
