Dicey's Salvage, owned by Lindsay Patches (Rocky), was formerly known as Rocky's Salvage until 2015, when she took over the business from her Father, Steve. She married her husband, Warren, in December 2024. Her adult daughter, Rita, is from her first marriage.

East Sparta is just east of downtown Sparta, the county seat, across the Rio Grande. Sparta sits on the western bank of the river, and the east bank is called East Sparta, Little South, The bottoms, or Old Town by locals, and was the site of Sparta till 1912, after a flood /fire forced it to be relocated to the west side of the river.
On this warm (high near 75 ) Friday ,Dec ,19th ,2025 afternoon, we see Inter County Railway ( ICR ) General Manager Pauline Bailey leaving Hazzard Range Bulletin/KRTK Radio after doing a radio interview that will also appear in the paper along their social media about ICR plans for “ trash train, “ while plans are still being worked out between Hazzard Range, Apache, and Sweetwater counties for a regional landfill in Sweetwater county. Pauline, in her interview, noted that this is still good for 5 to 8 years out, but with rumors circulating, she and the counties thought an interview was necessary.

As a warm sun beats down on this May 27, 2025, afternoon, we see an elderly couple dressed in their Sunday best look on as their old stock car is hauled away by Dicey's Salvage workers, Andy Deha, and Rita Rocky.
