I used to believe that a person wasn’t “allowed” to change their mind or explore down different paths... as if it’s a shameful thing to let go of your old story; to grow & evolve; to expand your interests & skills!? 😅 (I can chuckle now as I realize that to be an absurdly grave misunderstanding.)

This journey of mine has been anything but a clear-cut straight line. Most days, it feels like I’m making it up as I go — throwing spaghetti at the walls just hoping for something, ANYTHING, to stick. Navigating the ebbs & flows, learning how to float, but feeling like I’m barely treading water. (Then again, aren’t we all?!)

I guess all I’m really trying to say is: There are lots of things I used to be that I am no longer, and there are lots of things I never thought I’d be that I unexpectedly am. 💫

Yes indeed this this the same fifthwheel we purchased new in 2013. We started our journey "fulltime" in June 2013. We have stayed at 250 plus RV Parks, State Parks and County Parks.
29 National Parks and 27 National Monuments.
Did I mention... well over 110,000 miles and still going!
However this is a different Ram than what we started out with. The 2012 has been re-cycled! We were hit head-on (Dec. 2019) when another driver crossed the center line into our lane.... BOOM!!! Needless to say it was totalled. So in comes the newer Ram.

On this Sunny Saturday May 13, 2023 morning ,we see Boom Police dept officer Don Zappen take a report at Trailhead Motel only lodging in Boom besides three Rv Parks .We also see John Monotony owner of Monotony Enterprises who is biggest landowner in the county only other is Federal government
Boom is in Western Part of Apache County NM in the Terreno llano Seco basin ( TLS basin ) and Terreno llano Seco means dry flat land in Spanish . .TLS Basin is about 90 miles along ,about 20 miles wide in western Apache and Clay counties NM .
The population of Boom/the area around it , is around 1,000 people and sits about 35 miles west from Apache the county seat
Currituck National Wildlife Refuge consists of 4,570 acres and is located on the northern end of North Carolina's Outer Banks. It is accessible only by 4-wheel drive vehicles. Print Size 13x19 inches. Happy Truck Thursday
I like the graphics on this Nevada Department of Public Safety Fire Marshal unit. This pickup is a 2010-2018 Ram 2500/3500 quad cab. I didn't see any emergency lights anywhere on it but would be surprised if this vehicle is not equipped to respond Code 3. So there's probably LED flashers hidden on it somewhere. On this breezy sunny and hot, with a high near 104 Sunday June 21,2026 afternoon we see Hazzard Range County Public Works Dept Toad Marino and Jacob Fuentes walking into Law and Order Cafe they just wrap up with emergency water line break repair that is do for full replacement next month .
Inside Deputy Emergency Services Administrator, Chris Lackton pays for his dinner as he chats with cafe Co-owner Joe Young. Who asks “ if this ‘Super El Niño’ might be a game changer “ Chris responds “ forecast models shows it could ,but will see how pans out mean while we fry !”
Them and many across the county and state pray and hope it does as the last few years have been the worst in 21+ years of drought that has gripped the region and has brought local reservoir Eagle Lake below 6% full and on track to hit lowest since 1954 . Blockbuster monsoon and winter snow storms for the Rio Grande watershed would be prayers answered ….
Law and Order Cafe is owned by retired Sheriff’s Lieutenant Joe Young ( 1973 to 2001 ) and his wife retired County Probate Judge Nancy ( 2002 to 2006 ) and located in the 500 block of Main St in Sparta, the County seat .

Clay county Sheriff Shawn Gray and NMDOT is advising that if you don’t need to be out traveling on the roadways please don’t. Roads are icy in spots. Snow and blowing snow are reducing visibility .If you have to travel Please drive with caution, reduce speed and obey all posted traffic signs. NMDOT crews are out plowing the roadways .

On this late Thursday June 20th,2019 afternoon .We see Forks Police Chief Walter Jackson talking with an Apache county public works workers about crack window in his office that is located in
city hall " .in Top Fork
Forks is made up of three ( Fork , Middle Fork and Top Fork ) little cluster of homes and businesses that form Forks In 1987 they consolidated to Form Forks with a total population of about 499 on the banks of Forks creek .Most part of the canyon they set in is home to small farms and ranches in the surrounding desert .All three Villages set in Forks Creeks Canyon along the Forks Creek in Apache County NM , just over the County Line from Hazzard Range County. Also all three are served by joint Village Commission ,that has three Commissioners Forks Police Department ( FPD) has 5 officers including the Chief .

On this Friday March 25th,2022 We see a local rancher throws his hands in the air after filling up his truck at Martinez fuel and Auto repair .
On this Tuesday Sept 29,2020 morning we see Hazzard Range County Information technician Director Darron Senski and Information technician Hank Daca working on the communication tower for the sheriff's office substation in Fort Hazzard back up and running .
Also pictured is Sheriff’s office Deputy Brady Munoz unit .

As the Clock near 9PM on this Saturday July 4th ,2026 .We see standing next to orange Ram 3500 Hazzard Range County Public Works Road and Street Division Supervisor Joe Franco talking with couple and Blue's Cafe co owner Bill Cabot . Joe is grabbing a late dinner to go before heading to Eagle Lake State park to assist with traffic control for the fireworks show that starts very soon .
We also see County Sheriff’s office Investigator Taylor Sportisburg and Sheriff Troy Forbes ( passenger ) heading to report of fireworks and a fight between neighbors on Pack Ct in western edge of Eagle Lake townsite.
The Scene takes place in the 200 block of Main st ( NM 168 ) in Sparta townsite, the county seat .With amount of calls suspected this weekend Troy has the office’s three investigators assisting with normal patrol work and himself too ,but some think this a campaign move ,but others have quick to point his opponent this Nov current Sheriff’s Lieutenant Dolly King is also working this weekend . One of the people pointing that out is Tina Holder the daughter of former Sheriff Brad Holder ( June 1964 to Dec 1970 ) ,she is one chair of one of the biggest Civic clubs in the county ,since 2024 and that Troy has done since taken office in Jan 2015 .
With Fireworks crowds for the annual Firework show from Goat Head Island and all the other calls ,the Sheriff’s office ,State Police and Park Rangers are stretched thin over this long 4th of July weekend . That a lot of local residents and first responders along some livestock are happy is drawing to a close
Goat Head Island or right now a peninsula ,once the lake gets around 15 % full, the peninsula and road to it goes underwater, and the Goat Head Island peninsula is an Island again.
Right now, Eagle Lake stands at 3.5 % full, which means lots of beach for the thousands who flock to the lake on big holidays like this.
Eagle Lake is man made reservoir ,located in the northern part of Hazzard Range County, and the townsite next to it is named for Eagle Lake Dam, which was built in the teens of the 1900s for irrigation and flood control, but recreation has become a big byproduct, which has now become a heated subject since the lake started dropping from its high water years of 1980s and 90s
With COVID-19 closing many things some things are still going on .Here we see Hazzard Range county Sheriff's office Wildlife Investigator Dan Farco keeping his social distance from a local rancher along Mist mt rd in Northwestern part of the county . Dan is just checking on the rancher who was pulled over along the rd resercuring his hay load
The Rancher and Dan have a quick chat about the COVID-19 and oil prices tanking along with rancher’s number one concern ,Wolves .Dan has been county Wildlife Investigator since Nov of 2019 and he has seen many ( 30+ ) deaths linked to wolves . Former Wildlife Investigator Floyd Firewalker who held the job from 2014 to Oct 2019 saw alest 100+ a year . The job mainly has him document Wolf kills for local government level records ,Mostly livestock ,but also some pets,but no humans yet .

Forks Police Department Officers Scott Zales and Paul Jesski assisted Apache County Sheriff's Office Sergeant Jane Waters ,New Mexico State Police Officer Cody Juens along with Hazzard Range County Sheriff’s Sergeant Brady Munoz handled noise/underage drinking / violation controlled substance act and assault on Tinker Bell rd in Fork .
Two males and one female arrested/transported to Apache County detention center booked /released .One Male and one female transported to Apache Regional Medical Center

Since July 1st 2017 the Hazzard Range County sheriff's office( HRCSO ) has had a memorandum of understanding ( MOU ) with Apache county ( county to south ) and Village of Forks for Law enforcement response.
On this Thursday Oct 24th,2019 .We see Hazzard Range County Sheriff’s office Deputy Brady Munoz talking with County volunteer Fire and EMS Station 1 ( Fort Hazzard ) chief Brad Under assisted fire chief Rick Lee outside the fire station. Also pictured is County Public Works Dept Facility Maintenance Division Mike Nail who along with Jean Morgen ( not pictured ) finishing up make sure the station is winterized.
On this windy Wednesday April 17th ,2019 ,We see Eagle Lake State Park ranger Mel Triivo passing truck and boat as he heads down Zia Cove rd ,as he and other first responders are responding to sail boat that wrecked in the cove . Eagle lake is around 13.3% full and rising ,so on days like this with winds blowing as high as 35 mph the lake get rough and lot of rocks to hit ,so accidents happen . Lucky two people on the sail boat was recused and not hurt . Boat was not so lucky most of it was salvaged ,but some of it is now at the bottom of the lake, Eagle Lake State Park Marine Enforcement officers are investigating. Other First responders was Eagle Lake State Park Rangers Jose Gall and Darren Baja ,County volunteer Fire Station 7 EMS and extrication ( Eagle Lake ) , Hazzard Range county sheriff's office Investigator Matt White along with Hazzard Range Community Health center EMS.
