Somewhere in Wyoming USA

In memory of our 2012 Ram 3500. We were hit (head on) December 16, 2019... totaled and had to purchase a new truck.

Mopar Atlantic Nationals, Raceway Park, Englishtown, NJ, June 6, 1999.

With a high near 87 °F on this Monday, October 6th, 2025, afternoon, we see 41-year veteran of the Hazzard Range County Sheriff’s Office, Lieutenant Bubba Sanchez, talking outside of Martinez Fuel and Auto Repair with mechanic Ty Haler and Randy Martinez, as Randy’s son James works on Bobby Sanchez’s ( no relation to Bubba ) 1969 Dodge Charger.

Bubba laughs as he thinks of the countless times Bobby or his four siblings, Larry, Chad, Reba, and Dolly, have tried to outrun the Sheriff’s office over the last 30 years, but like all things that chapter is now closed, Bobby, the second oldest and now solo owner of it, is getting it ready to be sold after the new year and put his family’s racing to rest Bobby and his siblings are the kids of the late Bonny and Dale Sanchez, Since Dale passed way in Jan 2024, the old 01 has sat at the family farm just gathering dust. With the wedding of his sister Reba coming up soon at her longtime boyfriend’s Sheriff’s office, Investigator Taylor Sportisburg and Larry are pushing to clean up the land of “junk. “The timing was right.

Larry is a full-time farmer, but Bobby works for the US Forest Service most of the year. Chad works for the local Railroad, Reba is a bartender at Rusty Bucket Saloon, and Dolly works in healthcare in Texas.

Randy and Mary Martinez own Martinez Fuel and Auto Repair. Their son James is one of their mechanics. Location is in Sparta, the County seat

~~Note Not reported in the paper ~~

High Space Turtle Cannabis is one of many companies owned by G.D. Enterprises, which is owned by George Dallas “G.D.,” who served for seven terms as county commissioner (1991 to 2022). He is one of the few former and current county commissioners who have kept the county relatively cannabis retail-free since it became legal in New Mexico on June 29, 2021. However, given the amount of money involved, An G.D. has never been known to pass up an opportunity to make money. With High Space Turtle Cannabis, being a Retailer, Producer, and Manufacturer based in Apache (in the neighboring county and county seat of Apache), it was only a matter of time before a branch opened here.

Linda Petdar is his granddaughter and the daughter of G.D’s oldest child, Katy. Linda is married to Chad Petdar, the Chief of Staff at the University of Mid-New Mexico.

Pour être resté à côté un petit moment, cet attelage a au moins autant de fois été pris en photo que toutes les belles bécanes engagées à ce BOC.
