Pickups are big business representing high returns and stakes for the auto brands that build them. They are also a daily necessity for both consumer and commercial usage. This week Automotive Rhythms spent more time behind the wheel of a 2022 Wind Chill Pearl Toyota Tundra Hybrid Capstone CrewMax, which felt more luxurious than industrial. I didn’t want to accomplish my typical yard tasks and Home Depot runs with this particular truck, especially with its lovely black and cream two-toned interior, jeweled chromed exterior trim, and 22" dark chrome alloy rims. However, we did go mountain biking together. For rough riders, you might want to go with the Tundra TRD Pro, which easily handles all terrains on and off-road. The MSRP for the Tundra Hybrid Capstone CrewMax is $73,530, but my test model was a bit more due to the $1,045 AVS+ Load-Leveling Rear Air Suspension, $425 Wind Chill Pearl (white) paint selection, and the $579 non-skid spray-on bed liner.

On this warm ( 87 °F) Thursday Oct 19th ,2023 late afternoon we see Hazzard Range County Sergeant Jerry Sparks meeting his Step Son Jesse and daughter in law Jean for dinner at their home in Sparta, the county seat. Jerry gladly grabbed a good meal with family after spending most of the day in court and before heading home to the southern part of the county about a 25 mile drive .
Jean is the youngest daughter of local rancher and former Sheriff ( 2011-2014 ) Travis and his late wife Jade Martin.

He is walking past Brittany Romero, co-owner of both with her partner Lily, and Ridge Sign service owner Alan Ridge, who just picked up the old KRTK sign from the building next door to the Back Goat Mining Company Building that housed KRTK since first coming on air in the 1940s. Rumor has it that a cannabis dispensary is looking at the location. While many towns in NM have 6+, Sparta only has one so far, but that could be changing.
G.D. Enterprises, owned by George Dallas “G.D.” and a few former and current county commissioners, has kept the county pretty Cannabis retail-free since it became legal in NM on June 29, 2021, but the amount of money involved and G.D have never been known to pass up money. G.D Enterprise already owns a Cannabis Retailer, Producer, and Manufacturer in Apache County, the county just to the south of Hazzard Range County, so it would just be a matter of time before they started popping up here .

The fourth generation Dodge Ram was introduced at the 2008 North American International Auto Show in Detroit and introduced for the 2009 model year. This latest generation was sold as the 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 starting in Fall 2008. The 2500, 3500, 4500 and 5500 models were later added to the line-up. In 2010, the Ram Trucks brand was separated from Dodge.
In 2010, Ram was separated from Dodge, and made a separate marque. This was supposedly done so Dodge could focus more on passenger and performance cars. Despite having split from Dodge in 2010, it was actually still marketed as one until the 2013 refresh.
For 2016, the all-new Ram 1500 Rebel debuted, offering off-road suspension with a 1.0 inch (2.5 cm) higher ride height, larger tires, and a unique interior to add to the Ram 1500 Big Horn and Lone Star trim levels. It features a unique blacked-out grille with powder-coated front bumper and exclusive aluminum hood, skid plates, and tow hooks. It is available with either a 305 hp (227 kW) and 269 lb⋅ft (365 N⋅m) 3.6L Pentastar VVT flex-fuel capable V6 engine or a 395 hp (295 kW) and 410 lb⋅ft (556 N⋅m) 5.7L Hemi V8 engine Four-wheel drive is available with either powertrain, but the two-wheel-drive model is V8-only. On this Late Friday, Sept 13th, 2024 in the Hazzard Range High School staff parking lot. We see Hazzard Range Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant Bubba Sanchez giving one last briefing to School Resource Deputy Crystal Vallez, and Court Security, and Civil Process Deputies Harry Martia and Allen Clark before tonight’s Homecoming game. LT Sanchez with 40 years with Sheriff’s office knows every time Hazzard Range Hawks takes on the Sweetwater Twisters. There are always issues, but luckily nothing like the big brawl of 1995. Still Ever Sheriff since 1995 has like have few extra deputies working these games.
Few were arrested and few people were slightly injured back in 1995, but The Hazzard Range Bulletin School/Sports Reporter Joy Sullivan still remembers the best camera she ever owned, did not survive that night
