Forks comprises three ( Fork, Middle Fork, and Top Fork ) little clusters of homes and businesses that form Forks. In 1987, they consolidated to Form Forks with a total population of about 899 on the banks of Forks Creek. Most of the canyon they set in is home to small farms and ranches in the surrounding desert. All three Villages are set in Forks Creek Canyon along
Forks Creek in Apache County, NM, just over the County Line from Hazzard Range County. Also, all three are served by a joint Village Commission that has three Commissioners Forks Police Department ( FPD) has a budget of 5 officers, including the Chief.

Lone Tree Wild Life Management Area. I've heard that they no longer paint state trucks and cars in distinctive colors as a standard paint job has higher re-sale value in the after-market when the state is done with them. Don't know if that is true, but this pickup only had a window decal to identify it as a state vehicle.

Brand new casting for 2025 Case F and yet for all the efforts Matchbox have put in its a one batch only release not crossing over into G! Their RAM 1500 REV is yet another EV to hit the range and is a perfectly stock looking model of Ram's first all electric full size light duty truck. A chunky well detailed casting with particular emphasis on front and rear tampo and a nice solid blue paint colour emphasising its factory stock credentials.
Available here in the UK via Poundland though I sourced mine from Jcar in the US as I never imagined this assortment would appear in the UK.

On this Warm high near 62 °F Jan 15,2024 afternoon we see Hazzard Range county Sheriff’s office Animal control Deputy/Wildlife Investigator Dan Farco talking with Range Veterinary Services Veterinarian/owner Anthony Sullivan in the rear of their clinic in Eagle Lake . Dan is telling him of some wolf kills that local ranchers are dealing with spanning most of Western/northern part of the county . Anthony tells Dan about a new clinic they are opening up in Sweetwater County ( county to north ) with that opening in spring they will have four clinics now in the four county area .

On this July 22 morning little pass sunrise ,we see Hazzard Range county Sheriff's deputy Deputy Blake Cooper ( in blue ) talking with County Public Works Dept Park & Recreation Maintenance Division worker Bernie Cortez after he got done lowering the flag of the United States and NM state flag to half-staff at government center park . After President Barack Obama Ordered Presidential Proclamation ordering flags be flown at half staff in honoring the Victims of the Tragedy in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

This photo is dedicated to the four U.S. Marines and one Navy sailor killed last week ( July 16, 2015 ) in the attack in Chattanooga Tennessee. Also to the two people wounded a Marine recruiter and a police sergeant. Along with many people that emotionally touched by this Tragedy.

On this Saturday, June 28th,2025, we see some visitors and residents taken in the Founder’s Day Carshow that this year is being held in the 900 block of Main St in Sparta, the county seat of Hazzard Range County
The event is held around the 28th of June every year to celebrate the founding of the County way back, on June 28th, 1883. Besides 2020 when COVID shut it down and 2021 too, the last ten years, all the events have been held at the county event center/fairgrounds, but with a new board, half of the events have been moved back downtown, which has been welcomed news to downtown business owners who have thought move for years.
While the car show, Parade, vendors, and live music have stayed in the downtown area. The rodeo is at the Fairgrounds. The board also changed the event location to the 900 block of Main st. That vacant lot was at one time home to the Goodtimes club, which closed after a fire in the 1970s. The rest of it takes place in a public parking lot that the local Catholic church owns, but has opened to the public to help with some parking/event space that is very limited in the downtown area.

On this overcast Saturday, September 6th, 2025, morning, we see some cows grazing around Forks Police Department vehicles parked behind Forks City Hall/ Police Station in Top Fork. Their pasture is leased to a local farmer ( who is checking on them here ), next to the county public works old Quonset hut, located between May St and Rader Creek Rd in Top Fork
