While in Florida for our high school band trip, I was able to snap quite a few snazzy fireworks pictures. These were set off right after a parade in Disney World.

The 10th Annual Bradford Tomato Festival was held at Bradford Research Center in Columbia on Sept. 4, 2014. More than 1,000 people came out to the research center to sample more than 270 varieties of tomatoes and peppers. Ten restaurants also were on hand with salsa samples and other tamoto-based dishes. Informational sessions by MU and Lincoln University specialists answered questions of growers and gardeners.

So, consider the question "Do you dream in color?" After many years of truly not knowing for certain, I can answer definitively "yes." Here's how I know for certain: Two nights ago I dreamed of sketching the upper portion of a building (not this one.) I could vividly see the loosely painted colors of Cadmium Red Light contrasted against Perylene Green. I recall thinking in my dream that the two colors were almost (but not quite) complimentary. Upon waking Sunday, I told myself I needed to add the two colors to a similar sketch I'd made on Saturday morning to better recall the sensation of seeing color in my dream. Having done so, I realized almost immediately that the Perylene Green in my dream was slightly more of an Olive hue. So why is this important? I've no idea, really. But I felt there was some imperative and rather than question it I acted upon the imperative.

Tá, sou obrigada a concordar que a aqua base facilita MUITO a aplicação do Nfu Oh, mas O DS Original e o 2Nite funcionam igualmente com base normal e aqua base...
quanto ao extra brilho, todos ficam iguais... não perderam nada do brilho holográfico... na hora que passa apaga um pouco, mas depois volta... e vcs???
I am looking for advice on places to get quality prints at good prices... whether it is ok to order from someplace (where???) on the internet that is noted for quality nature prints, or better to look more locally. I live aways from the big city of Portland with lots of options!

I SOLD SOME!!! I was so excited, now I want to do more! I suppose I better get a business licence next and keep track of receipts. I am using the money from this sale to get some mats and prints, so I can put some in local fairs this next month...

Originaly I thought it was a victim of a heteropteran predator but the massive bulk of the body, which was a least double that of other aphids sharing the same plant, caused me to wonder if the excessive bulk was from housing an internal parasitoid which then eat its way out.
Any ideas welcome
Aphidius (a genus of aphid parasitic wasps) I believe to be the culprit from other pictures that I have seen. The hole being the exit hole of the adult wasp.

I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. P/S: Twin Towers has a sky-bridge connecting the 2 structures but it's blocked by the trees here at this (supposedly) photo spot. i guess they must have grown since this spot was identified... the bigger question (to me) is why did they build 2 utterly distracting and non-blending structures so close to the twins??
Question: Now why would I post a rather common image with seemingly little to zero "artistic" appeal?
Answer: Two fold. I enjoy the subject. I LOVE the gray tones.

To question ones own gender identity without being an island
Bastiaan shows his interest in Planet Gender during the first Dutch Transgender conference (T3) in Amsterdam in the beginning of November 2004. A week later I ring his doorbell with croissants in my hands. From his attic apartment Bastiaan tells us parts of his life story. As far as I'm concerned he is a guy, although Bastiaan doesn't commit himself to either side. Sometimes people address him as 'sir', or sometimes as 'miss', but it doesn’t bother him. At work, however, he needs to present a clear profile. Bastiaan: "As a social worker I shouldn't focus on myself, but on the problems of the people that I help."
