"You are so young, so before all beginning, and I want to beg you as much as I can, to be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves like locked rooms and like books that are written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer." -Rainer Maria Rilke.

I am a huge fan of the All Access Ship Tour and this was the second time I have done this. I will definitely do it again. We had the Tour on February 20th, 2020 and Tyler (a member of the Shore Excursions Team from Canada) was a great guide. We all wore earpieces to hear the speakers at every stop. Here is the description of the tour: "Discover the answers to a question we get asked on every voyage, “How does a ship so big run so smoothly?” Find out on a behind-the-scenes tour that reveals the technology, teamwork, and tons of supplies that go into creating your Celebrity Cruise. Start in the Main Dining Room with a little hands-on lesson from the staff, and then, visit the Main Galley to see how our culinary team artfully prepares about 25,000 meals for our guests and crew each and every day. It’s an impressive achievement, especially when you think about all the exotic flavors you get to enjoy in Modern Luxury style aboard your Celebrity Cruise ship. Next up, pop into provisioning for a jaw-dropping look at the sheer volume of ingredients it takes to make it all happen. Here’s a little preview. We go through roughly 8,500 lbs of watermelon on every cruise. Not to mention, 10,000 bananas and 32,000 potatoes (give or take a few). Continue to the Engine Control Room, where expert engineers monitor the ship’s engines and onboard machinery - 24/7. You’ll learn how the engines do more than turn the giant props. They power all our onboard systems, including air-conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing and many others. This is the heart and soul of the cruise ship and you’ll enjoy a rare up-close look at how it operates. Afterwards, go for stroll down I-95, the “main highway” for the crew. It runs down the center of the ship and is named after the longest highway on the U.S. East Coast. Your next stop is Laundry, where thousands of items are cleaned and crisply folded every day– napkins to linens to beach towels. Marvel at massive machines that can hold 264 lbs. of laundry in every load. To put that in perspective, it’s like doing 14 loads of laundry in your machine at home all at once. The tour concludes with a real treat – a visit to the Bridge, where all the ship’s onboard systems are controlled. Step up and witness advanced navigation and communications equipment in action, and scan the sea from the same vantage point your Captain uses to chart the way. If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to run a cruise ship, this inside access tour provides plenty of answers, great insight, and a whole lot of excitement." On board the Celebrity Equinox for Seth's Big Fat Broadway Cruise from February 15th to the 22nd, 2020. The itinerary includes stops in San Juan (Puerto Rico), Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas (US Virgin Islands), Tortola (British Virgin Islands), Nassau (Bahamas) before returning to Port Everglades (Fort Lauderdale, Florida). The best part is that we are on Seth's Big Fat Broadway Cruise again!

I am looking for advice on places to get quality prints at good prices... whether it is ok to order from someplace (where???) on the internet that is noted for quality nature prints, or better to look more locally. I live aways from the big city of Portland with lots of options!

How about the Flickr printing option... anyone use that and have feedback??/

I SOLD SOME!!! I was so excited, now I want to do more! I suppose I better get a business licence next and keep track of receipts. I am using the money from this sale to get some mats and prints, so I can put some in local fairs this next month...

Also wondering about any leads to online tutorials or info on matting photos so they look really nice for selling..

OR suggestions on good ways to sell prints... places to get postcards or cards made...

anyone have experience with selling through Flickr, how is that working?

Can anyone share info with me on putting signatures on photos?

I know so little!!!!

Oh yeah, and I want to make a good business card ... any suggestions?

Too old for ambulance chasing? No need if you're an on the nose politician and there's an election looming! The ambulances will chase you.

Every ambulance I've seen lately has a political message, a protest, scrawled on a window. This was the first one I saw, so I had to stop for a closer look!

Originaly I thought it was a victim of a heteropteran predator but the massive bulk of the body, which was a least double that of other aphids sharing the same plant, caused me to wonder if the excessive bulk was from housing an internal parasitoid which then eat its way out.

Any ideas welcome

Aphidius (a genus of aphid parasitic wasps) I believe to be the culprit from other pictures that I have seen. The hole being the exit hole of the adult wasp.

Answer #13:

I am a part time poet. I have written a poem that goes as:

I climbed and climbed, where is the peak my Lord,

I ploughed and ploughed, where is the knowledge treasure my Lord,

I sailed and sailed, where is the Island of peace my Lord,

May Almighty bless my nation with vision and sweat (hard work) resulting into happiness

Guimarães is often referred to as the "birthplace of the Portuguese nationality" or "the cradle city" (Cidade Berço in Portuguese). This might be because the administrative seat of the County of Portugal was established there by Henry of Burgundy, or that it might also been the birthplace of Afonso I of Portugal, the first Portuguese king or because of the historical role of the city in the Battle of São Mamede (June 24th, 1128), which had a tremendous importance in the formation of Portugal and was fought in the vicinity of the city.

Guimarães is one of the most important historical cities of the country. Its historical center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, making it one of the largest tourist centers in the region.

Bastiaan

To question ones own gender identity without being an island

Bastiaan shows his interest in Planet Gender during the first Dutch Transgender conference (T3) in Amsterdam in the beginning of November 2004. A week later I ring his doorbell with croissants in my hands. From his attic apartment Bastiaan tells us parts of his life story. As far as I'm concerned he is a guy, although Bastiaan doesn't commit himself to either side. Sometimes people address him as 'sir', or sometimes as 'miss', but it doesn’t bother him. At work, however, he needs to present a clear profile. Bastiaan: "As a social worker I shouldn't focus on myself, but on the problems of the people that I help."

____

1/ Quelle est ta chanson préférée ? / What is your favorite song ?

If you were a dessert, what would you be ?

Puis tellement d'autres...

4/ T’aimes l'EPS ? / Like P.E. ?

5/ Cite trois meilleurs amis. / Name three best friends.

No matter how nice you are, there will always be haters.

If you could meet any singer/band who would rit be ?

Did you notice I skipped 7 ?

Oui je l'avais déjà lu

9/ Le sport… Tu en pratiques un ? / Sports... Play any ?

11/ Are you conceded ?

Erreur ?

12/ Tu parles d’autres langues ? / Speak any other languages ?

Je me damnerai pour manger de l'okonomiyaki right now!

14/ Quelque chose auquel tu es accro. / Something you're addicted to.

Random sentence ?

Ikitaiii...

16/ Quel âge as-tu ? / How old you be ?

J'aurai 22 ans à la mi-avril é_è

17/ As-tu une devise ? / Have a motto ?

Oooooh oui beaucoup, tellement... trop !

Is the person who tagged you epic/swagalicous/beasty/boss/insane ?

Beaucoup de personnes m'ont tagué... ^^

20/ As-tu apprécié ce tag ? / Did you enjoy this taggy ?

Ma foi oui ^^
