On se pose souvent la question C’est quoi l’amour ? il m’a fallu bien des années avant d’en avoir un avant-goût. Il m’a fallu trainer dans ce monde, à errer souvent sans but précis, sans objectif à part celui de subsister dans un univers hostile. L’humanité à toujours été étrange à mes yeux, et un jour, il y a 5 ans de ça j’ai vu une lueur… Mais voila l’amour il a son timing il m’a fallu attendre un peu avant que tu partages ma vie. Il y a 3 ans tout me menait à toi, et nous avons succombés ensemble à une grande aventure. Partagé nos destins, nos chemins, et là j’ai cru en l’humanité. J’ai trouvé le but de de ma vie et tous mes objectifs se centraient sur toi. Merci à la femme que tu es, tu m’as sauvé de par ton amour et tu me tiens la main chaque jour. Je te dois mes espoirs, ma force, tu m’as donné la stabilité dont j’avais besoin. Tu es la femme qui comble chaque vide que la vie à laisser. Merci pour ces 3 ans qui sont passés comme un coups de vent. Merci pour tout ce bel amour que nous partageons. Tu es ma vie, mon amour.

Bernie Harfleet states that his artistic practice is based
on what effects and motivates humans and in particular the dark and unspoken aspects of human society. He uses a range of media including painting, sculpture and photography to examine and question.
For 14, Harfleet looks at the statistics of domestic violence.
On average 14 women are killed in NZ by a member of their family each year. These women's names are briefly known to the general public before they become yet another number.
A while ago the British government announced that the RAF would at some point be receiving new planes. This set the rumour mill on fire and the internet virtually exploded with what people wanted to see and what they didn't want to see.
The top of the list for what people wanted was the Typhoon however most people also believe this is totally out of the question.
Then at RIAT during the RAF 100 celebrations the RAF made the rumour mill explode again with a low level fly by of nine Typhoons in Diamond Nine formation, the Red Arrows signature formation and the crowd exploded!! What a sight, what a noise, is the dream still alive? Who knows?

Towards the end of the nineteenth century, Austerlitz began, in reply to my questions about the history of the building of Antwerp station, when Belgium, a little patch of yellowish gray barely visible on the map of the world, spread its sphere of influence to the African continent with its colonial enterprises, when deals of huge proportions were done on the capital markets and raw-materials exchanges of Brussels, and the citizens of Belgium, full of boundless optimism, believed that their country, which had been subject so long to foreign rule and was divided and disunited in itself, was about to become a great new economic power—at that time, now so long ago although it determines our lives to this day, it was the personal wish of King Leopold, under whose auspices such apparently inexorable progress was being made, that the money suddenly and abundantly available should be used to erect public buildings which would bring international renown to his aspiring state. One of the projects thus initiated by the highest authority in the land was the central station of the Flemish metropolis, where we were sitting now, said Austerlitz; designed by Louis Delacenserie, it was inaugurated in the summer of 1905, after ten years of planning and building, in the presence of the King himself.
Delacenserie's eclecticism, uniting past and future in the Centraal Station with its marble stairway in the foyer and the steel and glass roof spanning the platforms, was in fact a logical stylistic approach to the new epoch, said Austerlitz, and it was also appropriate, he continued, that in Antwerp Station the elevated level from which the gods looked down on visitors to the Roman Pantheon should display, in hierarchical order, the deities of the nineteenth century—mining, industry, transport, trade, and capital. For halfway up the walls of the entrance hall, as I must have noticed, there were stone escutcheons bearing symbolic sheaves of corn, crossed hammers, winged wheels, and so on, with the heraldic motif of the beehive standing not, as one might at first think, for nature made serviceable to mankind, or even industrious labor as a social good, but symbolizing the principle of capital accumulation.
And Time, said Austerlitz, represented by the hands and dial of the clock, reigns supreme among these emblems. The clock is placed above the only baroque element in the entire ensemble, the cruciform stairway which leads from the foyer to the platforms, just where the image of the emperor stood in the Pantheon in a line directly prolonged from the portal; as governor of a new omnipotence it was set even above the royal coat of arms and the motto Endracht maakt macht. The movements of all travelers could be surveyed from the central position occupied by the clock in Antwerp Station, and conversely all travelers had to look up at the clock and were obliged to adjust their (...)

An interesting philosophical debate, no doubt. But meanwhile, my simple mind was quite amused by the street sign, which I spotted in Bleecker Street, Greenwich Village – so here it is.
I did not see such costumes in Russia ... to my question: who are you? the girls answered that they are messengers of love. And it was appropriate at the festival "Gift Day", we make presents with love :)

Seems they leave the blinds out all year now (unfortunately) and the blackbirds have no problems using them as perches to display from.
So the BIG question here is: Is this a one-legged bird? Where IS that other leg?

Most of life is lived between certainty and curiosity.
As children, we inherit stories, beliefs, traditions, and values from those who came before us. Some become foundations. Others become questions. Many remain both.
The young spend much of life searching for who they will become. The older we grow, the more we discover that the search never fully ends.
Perhaps that is why this scene resonated with me.
Not because it provides answers, but because it reflects something universal: the human desire to understand ourselves, our purpose, and the larger story into which our lives are woven.

La véritable photographie ICM est une manière créative de photographier qui implique la technique des mouvements intentionnels de votre appareil photo pendant l’exposition !
Quant à sa manipulation dans Photoshop pour obtenir l’effet ICM, elle est souvent rejetée par les vrais photographes ICM !!!
Souvent, les gens veulent savoir les paramètres, comment est réalisée la photographie ICM en demandant les données EXIF d’une image spécifique qu’ils ont vue en ligne, dans l’espoir de reproduire la même photo !
Mais le problème est que dans le domaine de la photographie ICM, les données EXIF (les données montrant les paramètres de l’appareil photo pendant l’exposition) n’ont aucun sens sans savoir quelle intensité et quelle direction de mouvement a été appliquée, quelles étaient les conditions d’éclairage et si oui, quel filtre ND a été utilisé !
Et surtout, quel était l’objectif du photographe ?
Dans la pratique, la meilleure façon de se familiariser avec la technique ICM est de régler son appareil photo sur une sensibilité ISO et une ouverture fixes, en utilisant un filtre ND de votre choix, comme par ex. un ND64, et commencez simplement à prendre des photos en utilisant un seul objet avec pas trop de vitesses d’obturation différentes, et d’intensité et/ou de direction de mouvement différentes …
La comparaison des résultats pourrait vous donner une idée de la manière d’aborder vos prochains clichés 🤔
Sachez que maîtriser la technique ICM est souvent une question d’essais et d’erreurs, et cela peut prendre des dizaines de photos pour obtenir le résultat souhaité !
Ne soyez pas surpris si vous rentrez à la maison avec plus de 100 clichés pris, n’en laissant qu’une petite poignée répondant à vos critères 😕

Aight, so this'll keep me occupied for a little bit. This'll pretty much be a series of pics featuring the Mandalorians from the battlepack in various settings, doing various things.
So first up is this bloke. He's the generic bounty hunter type, does business on a desert planet, likes a drink at the cantina, that whole thing. He also has an old AT-RT that he's patched up and modified over the years. How many years is a question that seeks to be answered. Might even upload separate pic of the AT-RT standing up.

"That's what the ox from the meat bridge could have told me" is used when an answer to a question is predictable or unsatisfactory.
"I might as well have told that to the ox on the meat bridge" means something like 'talking against a wall'.
Incorporate these two proverbs into your language from time to time and see which of your fellow human beings already know the story behind them. We're sure not too many

It was an early and chilly morning in Buttermere, just after sunrise. I have been shooting for a little while, and I cannot begin conveying how good it felt to have all that place for myself. Having a job that demands to be constantly ‘on’, doesn’t allow much down time and at times we all need to recharge, with no distractions, clear our minds and think with greater clarity.
In a culture where we often confuse the notion of being alone with loneliness, the ability to appreciate that 'me-time' allows us to reap its benefits. Some value the freedom of not having to follow the lead of others, no obligation to plan ahead, and no pressure to talk to anyone.
Personally, I always cherish those times when I’m alone with nature, and it is in such moments that questions find answers. More than that, at those times I choose to give something to myself, quality time, and by doing so I have made myself my own first choice.
