Oral Question Period on the first day of business for the Third Session of the 28th Legislature. November 18, 2014.
My hope is that the items below will inspire you along your path of knowledge, wise life choices, and resulting peace. From the Jesus follower to the skeptic who questions the existence of God because of pain in the world, there are some answers for them and everyone in between.
1. Is the New Testament reliable history or just made up stories?
More and more people are justifiably skeptical. But it might be because they lack important information. Below are links to two series of talks that offer such information.
"Verdict" video series
A 3-part message series that addresses criticisms of reliability of the accounts of Jesus' life as portrayed in the New Testament. Each video starts with a sketch, staged in a court room. Use the "Message" links below to skip the sketch.

"Investigating Jesus" video series
A more recent, 6-part message series which takes another approach at presenting a case for the reliability of scripture.
Note that these messages are simply a good introduction to Christian apologetics. If your curiosity is piqued, check out "Evidence That Demands A Verdict", which was recently updated in 2017.
2. If Heaven exists, who makes it in?
If you believe in an afterlife, your impression of what it will be like is likely influenced by any religious upbringing you may have had or just the way it is portrayed in movies. You likely believe that you won't be sharing space with the worst of humanity. That they will be somewhere other than the "Heaven" that you reside in. So, where is the line of who makes it into the nicer place and who doesn't? This 3-part series investigates that question.

is . . . WHY? Why have these unsightly ruins been left to mar the landscape at Cape Tormentine, New Brunswick, lo these many years? Doesn't anybody care? What a dishonour to the memory of all those formerly employed by the ferry service between N.B. and P.E.I.
Find the bird word.
Look at the picture and try to find a bird connected word. All are one word answers - think of words like egg, beak, nest, plumage etc.
So I have a question about explore that I don't quite understand. Is there a difference between getting onto explore and getting onto front page? Or are they the same thing?

I have this button and it depicts a large bird (Ibis?) with its bill in what looks like a dog's mouth. Any ideas? Is this a legend/fable/story? I'm not having any luck figuring it out. Thanks!!

Aza put on a good lecture. He had lots of fans. If you didn't know, Aza's dad is Jef Raskin, the man who created the UI for the Mac. Like father, like son.
Audience questions at the forum covered such subjects as the politics surrounding the translation of the Koran and the homogenization of Muslim women.
Draeke Darkfold leans forward to level a squinted gaze into her features. “You say that but… I’m thinking you like the mean ones. Most women do, really.” He knew this all too well from personal experience and frequent disappointment. He muses silently a moment before sliding easily from the bar in order to stand before her. “Lemme ask you something and really think about the answer, okay?” He tilts his head, very possibly invading her sense of ‘personal space’ due to his sudden proximity. “Let’s say you had two choices…” His voice trails as he graces her with a scrutinizing stare. “One..” He lifts a single digit in emphasis. “I could spin you around, use something to wrap up your wrists, hike up that skirt of yours and bang you over a chair….” Despite the subject matter, he speaks rather matter-of-factly. “Or two..” A second digit is lifted beside the first. “I could take you by the hand, walk you out to the cliffs and serenade you beneath the moonlight."
"Which one would it be?"
I bought a set from the E to the B that didn't have a box of it's own, and the shipper sent it in this to protect it. I'm really liking the items pictured. Can anyone tell me the name of the series so I can search for it?
In reply to a question, Miteiya says that one should not live in hallucination of imaginative devotion. The real teachings of Jesus can be seen in His act during the Last Supper. Jesus asked his followers to consume a piece of bread and a glass of wine as Flesh and Blood of Jesus. This necessarily means that Jesus did not want people to follow him but rather become like him.
Jesus wanted us to consume him within us and let him manifest through us. Miteiya further speaks about John, the Baptist and explains the scientific secrets of Bible.
An interesting discourse for Christian friends.
