Captured these swans basking in the sunrise while seeking an image immersed in fog. Great way to begin a weekend.

Finger Lakes Railway's former Conrail B23-7 No. 1989 shows off its neat Quality touch-up, parked on the main at Solvay NY, prior to installation of radio control equipment which marred its appearance.

C-GCEV, a 40-year-old de Havilland Canada DHC-7-103 Dash 7, on approach to runway 33 at Downsview Airport in Toronto, Ontario.

It was arriving as TIN801 (Air Tindi Ltd.) from Thunder Bay, Ontario and Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.

Serial number 63 first flew on October 17, 1981 and began its career as P2-ANN with Air Niugini Limited in Papua New Guinea on November 6, 1981.

Only 113 DHC-7s were produced and today fewer than 20 remain airworthy. It is indeed a rare bird.

Mama Bluebird is building a nest in my backyard box. Daddy's role seems to be that of building inspector. He takes no role in the nest building other than to fly to the box and peer in every time Mama takes in a mouthful of grass. In this case he removed this piece, flew to his favorite perch and dropped it. Go figure.

One Step for a Nation, One step for Humanity?

Where is the Mr. or Ms. Smith when we need them the most? Maybe this will be the person and he or she has arrived in Washington to help the little guy and do the right thing for our nation & for the world.

Our nation is at a cross road and the path ahead isn't very clear to many of us. Whoever wins this election the road ahead for them will be always full of political situations and obstacles that will always be changing, that will be the true challenge. I pray that those decisions will reflect the best interest of the average individual of this nation.

Or is this just a pipe dream that I'm having again?
